(Rhydian's pov)

The word 'war' rings in my ears. I look over to Maddy who is looking equally as fightened. I crawl over to her and pull her in for a hug. I kiss the top of her head as she begins to cry.

"Boy," I look up to see my dad standing above us "What are you going to do?"

I look back to Maddy "We are going to get help." I try to say it with confidence, but somehow it dosn't work.

"Okay." I see my mum "Let's get help."

I nod and pull Maddy up "Ready?" I whisper in her ear.

Eventually we work out a plan. Me and my mum will go to the wild to get help, whilst my dad and Maddy will call others. As the time nears for me to leave I grip to Maddy's hand. Tears begin to spill "I'll see you soon." I promise her.

She nods and kisses me. I run of into the woods. Eventually we stop to find a wild pack. Ceri looks over to me. "We need your help." I explain the story to them. Finally people tell others until we have our own small army.

Come on Madds. Where are you?

We're almost there. Promise.

Eventually Maddy arrives, with a lot more wolfbloods. I smile at her. However our moment of peace is short lived as snarling breaks out between the wild and tames.

"Oi!" Maddy shouts over the crowd, "Stop this. We need you to get along. Because we need you, all of you. It dosn't matter if you are wild or tame you are the same. So please can we do this toghter?" The crowd look at her.

"Shes special." My mum whispers in my ear. I nod knowling.

As we start to prepare we hear howls fron above. War is about to begin. Wolfbloods pounce onto us. I lose sight of Maddy as I am struck down by a huge male. One after another. I look above and I see Adam grinding at my face. Pulling peices of flesh away. The pan shoots right through me. Eventally he is thrown of.

Slowley the war begins to end, however I still see no sign of Maddy. I shout out...no reply. "Maddy!" My voice sound more deaperate as I wonder the landscape.

Until I come acrosd a flat peice of land. There lay Maddy, motionless. Her body lay there. The woods was silent, "Madds?" I whisper.

Fresh tears roll down my checks. I hold her hand, but it was ice cold. Her skin was waxy. Dried blood stained her clothes. I let the tears fall. I was to late.
