Severus Snape stood astounded as Beatrice Black stumbled towards him. She flung her arms and sobbed mercilessly into the potions master's robes. Her tears drenched his robes and her cries shook the room. He tempted to put a hand in her shoulder to ease her off but was surprised as the girl only sobbed loudly.

She lifted her gaze and croaked once again with a broken voice, "I need to see Professor Dumbledore".

The man was quick to guide the girl to the headmaster's office. She moved with her head down and did not want others to notice her tear-stricken face. They soon arrived at the office and were immediately met with the white-bearded man. He examined the scene in front of him and he visibly paled.

He took a step forward, wanting to examine the girl's hand but was shocked tremendously. He had to take his fingers bank to examine the new burns sporting his wrinkled hands.

He sighed and said, "Ms. Black you need to calm down. All is fine, do not fret. We will be calling Mr. Lupin and Mr. Black right away".

The half-moon spectacle man nodded and proceeded to cast his distinctive Patronus.

When the headmaster's chimney roared in a green light, two figures stepped out breathing loudly. As Remus Lupin found the form of his shaking goddaughter, he pulled her into a hug, not caring for the burning shocks that rippled through his body. Sirius Black also came to her rescue and planted his hands on her shoulder.

After several minutes Remus said, "You are fine Tris, we are here with you, you are okay", and squeezed her tighter against his chest.

The girl stopped shaking and glanced at the worrisome face her uncle's sported. She dazed back to her hands and saw that the electricity had subdued completely.

She mustered to find her voice and said, "Moony, Paddy, please, tell me the truth".

Remus set her down and sighed. "Beatrice, this is not easy to explain, please take a seat and we'll explain everything".

The girl took a seat and waited for Remus to speak, but soon finding Dumbledore clears his throat to begin the explanation.

"I assume Remus and Sirius already told you about your mother's power and how her magic was chaotic yet unique and completely obliterating. She was what you can call an electrokinetic. Such magic, we believe was ancient, dating back to where Merlin saved Morgan Le Fay and gifted her one of the most unique powers known to the wizarding world. The Lupin family was related to the Le Fay family. Your great-great-grandfather took an interest at Cecily, the daughter of Morgan. It seemed that this power skipped male generations and only appeared in the first females of the family, your mother, and now yourself. You have power so strong that you can harness thunderbolts and lighting into your magic. Your mother, however, did not even know about her powers until she was faced with the death of her husband and almost, one of her best friends that night. We believe that something must trigger you in order for you to start brandishing signs of power. I also think that Harry and Cedric both being in this tournament has affected you, and that's why your powers are so erratic.

Your mother learned to control her magic with Alastor as she continued her Auror training. Young Mr. Diggory is aware of your condition. The night that Remus, unfortunately, attacked you in his werewolf form, your body took more time to process the infection, fighting it off completely. We are still not aware of the magnitude you can harness in your powers, but we are willing to help you, just like we helped your mother. From now on Ms. Black, Severus will teach you DADA separately in order for you to control it".

The girl stood there. She was too tired to move or even nod in approval.

Remus squeezed her shoulder and said, "alright, I think we are done here. Beatrice needs to go rest. This was clearly a lot of information to process for her".
