Four years later

Fog. All that surrounded the ocean was fog and a cold thin air. Killian Jones, along with William Smee, were sailing through the remains that had left a terrible storm. There were barrels and broken things spread all over the water.

"Captain," Smee said "look"

"Seems the storm has left no survivors. " Captain Hook stared at the dead bodies that were floating nearby "Royal guards. Take a closer look at their armors"

"This means-"

"The ship carried important people. Keep rowing, we might find something valuable, jewels at least"

"Women usually carry shiny stuff. Maybe there's a duchess around"

Unfortunately for them, they only found a couple of supplies and broken useless objects. They were about to make their way back to the ship when Killian caught sight of someone.

"Smee. Over there" He said pointing forward with his hook.

Once they got close enough, Hook and Smee saw a young woman's body lying over a piece of wood. Her fingers were wrinkled because of the long hours spent in the water; her blonde hair was wet and messy and she had a medium size bruise on her temple.

"You were right" Killian commented "Women always carry jewelry. Specially if they are princesses"

He deduced she was a princess because of the silver tiara with blue sapphires that was on her head.

"Princess? What a shame"

"Aye. But..." He slowly removed the tiara and kept it inside his leather satchel "It won't be a complete loss"

Both smiled ambitiously knowing an object like that would make them win a generous quantity of coins. However, Hook placed his eyes on the girl again. Something moved him to take out his dagger and place it below her nose. It wasn't long until he noticed how the weapon got misted.

"She's still alive. Let's take her in" Killian said ready to carry the lady in his arms.

"But Captain... There's no reason to do this, we don't... save people"

"Oh Smee, you have no idea, do you?"

"Uh..."

"Just think about it. How much would her rich family pay to have her back?"

"I get it! Brilliant idea!"

"That's why I'm the Captain here. Quick, help me before she wakes up"

Her body was cold and her face pale. If it weren't for Hook the girl would've died in a matter of time.

Once at the Jolly Roger, the crew began to argue about having a woman aboard.

"It's bad luck!" "It's gonna be a torment!" "She's gonna be a headache!"

"Silence!" Killian yelled "You're the ones who give me a bloody headache! I should make you all walk through the plank!"

Everyone closed their mouths and directed their eyes to the captain.

"If you don't agree with my decisions you can leave this vessel, be my guest. My ship, my orders. Am I making myself crystal clear?"

They all answered with a 'yes'.

"Good. Remember, gentlemen, we're about to be stronger and powerful with the upcoming plans. Just be patient and stop arguing because I'm giving you part of the kings' payment"

The men yelled euphorically. Money was always the solution for pirates, Killian knew that.

As this went on, the princess lied unconscious inside the Captain's chamber, unaware of the tangles she was about to face.
