Alec(pov)

"I probably shouldn't ask you this... but why were you outside... in such a weather?", I asked once we were done with breakfast and sat comfortably on the couch. Magnus shifted, staring into the hot cup of tea in his hands.

I wanted to ask him what happened, why he was unconscious on the street and a lot of questions. But I needed to do one thing at once, I couldn't scare him with asking so many questions. I was really worried about him.

It's been minutes, when Magnus  decided to finally tell me a bit of what happened. . "Uhm... I had a bad day. So, I decided to take a walk and— I didn't eat much that's why I fainted." I stared at him, hands still around the cup and his gaze down. It was a gut feeling that told me he was lying, or at least he didn't tell the other part of the story. But I wasn't gonna push him to tell me, it was his place to do so. Even if I wanted to know, to help him. "It's okay. Thank you for telling me", I offered him a smile as he looked up at me. We spend the evening watching movies, we passed from Drama to Comedy ones. It was already late, around 7 pm probably, when Magnus said one word.

It was simple, nothing wrong about it. But I knew it was gonna come, of course, he would have told me. It would have been strange if he didn't, right? "I'm sorry. I've stayed all day, I hope your parents don't mind. I can always—", I cut him off, waving my hand. "Don't worry, really. You can stay the night. You still have to rest, and I don't mind you staying the night."

He looked confused and was about to argue but instead, he closed his mouth.
