Nakamura felt like her head was lead when she had woken up. She had the chills yesterday and thought that it would disappear overnight, but it seemed like it only got worst. Coughing into her elbow, she zipped up her sweater as she stood with Hyuuga, Riko, and Kagetora in the corner of the gymnasium, discussing training menus while the other players were having a practice match.
Holding her clipboard and a pencil in her hands, she tried her hardest to focus and to ignore the throbbing headache she had. As she stood there trying to go through her notes, the other three continued to discuss potential training menus.
"Nakamura-san, what do you think about it?"
Riko continued to write down ideas, wanting to hear the girl's opinion about the training menu they had just come up with. As Riko received silence from the girl, she looked up from her papers to see Nakamura standing in a daze.
"Nakamura-san, are you feeling okay?"
"... Huh? Sorry, what did you say?"
Getting Kagetora and Hyuuga's attention, they all heard how soft and weak her voice was. Putting a hand to the girl's forehead, Hyuuga realized she was really warm despite only having a light sweater on.
"Oi Nakamura, are you okay? You're warm."
"... Huh? Sorry, I have a headache."
As Nakamura raised her hand to rub her temples, she felt herself lose her grip on her clipboard and pencil. Letting the objects fall, her vision turned blurry and she felt the headache turn into dizziness. Feeling her knees shake, it wasn't long before she had passed out, Hyuuga catching the girl in surprise.
"Nakamura-san!"
"OI Nakamura, are you okay?!"
Hearing a commotion come from the group, everyone in the practice match stopped and looked over to see Hyuuga kneeling, holding Nakamura against his chest while Riko had a hand against the girl's forehead.
Forgetting the practice match, everyone rushed over to see what had happened to their manager.
"I think it's just a cold, but she's burning up really bad. We should get her to a bed for now."
As Hyuuga slipped his arms under the girl's knees and around her back so he could pick her up, Riko told everyone to return to practice for the time being. She would take care of the sick girl while Kagetora would continue to lead practice.
As Hyuuga followed Riko out of the gymnasium, Kagetora turned around to face the team, telling them, "Oi you brats. Why are you all still standing there? Get back to your practice match!"
"Yes sir!"
Rushing back to the court, the team worried that the man would now double or triple their practice menu.
Meanwhile Hyuuga was following Riko through the hallways as they tried to locate Nakamura's room. Finding her room, they opened the door and Hyuuga set her on the bed. After settling the girl in bed and pulling the covers over her, Riko told Hyuuga to get back to practice for now while she would take care of Nakamura. Nodding his head, he took his leave and headed back to the gymnasium.
As Hyuuga left the room, Riko followed suit to grab a towel and a bowl of ice water, soaking the towel and squeezing the water out before wiping the girl's sweat away. Leaving the room again, she checked to see if they had any cold medicine only to turn up empty.
Grabbing her jacket, Riko stopped by the gymnasium to tell her father that she was going out to buy medicine. Kagetora turned away from the practice match and asked her how Nakamura was.
