Sasuke was walking back to his office after his meeting when he was met by his secretary.
"Sir Sasuke, the hokage said he wants to set an appointment with you.""Regarding what? Damn that Naruto," he said, he continued walking towards his office, his secretary was walking fast to catch up to him.
"He didn't say, he said that you already know about it. I'm sorry sir, I can't say no. I mean he's the hokage."
"Fine, on what day did you set the appointment?" Sasuke asked when he was about to open the door of his office.
His secretary suddenly walked slower, now she was a few steps behind him.
"Uhm. Now," she replied. He heard his secretary the exact moment he opened the door, and to his surprise Naruto was seated on one of the chairs in front of his desk. But what surprised him more was a pink-haired lady was seated next to him, staring at the window behind his desk, not looking back at him at the door. Naruto grinned at him when he opened the door to his office.
"I told him you're busy sir, I swear!" Karin explained.
"It's alright Karin, just get back to work. By the way, do I have another meeting for today?"
"No sir, just that one meeting."
"Damn it. Alright."
Too bad, he was expecting to have another meeting so he can avoid these two. He entered his office and shut the door behind him. Naruto was looking at Sasuke as he walked towards his chair. Sakura on the other hand was so stiff, she was still staring at the window behind Sasuke's desk.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Sasuke asked when he took a seat, but he was just looking at Naruto.
"Continuation of what we talked about last night," Naruto answered."You know we can talk about it again tonight, right? That's why phones were invented, so you won't barge in here and disturb me."
"Well, I know you'll prolly hang up on me, so I'd rather talk to you in person!" Naruto grinned.
"Get to the point, Naruto. What do you want?" Sasuke asked.Naruto's face suddenly became serious,
"I want to talk to you about your daughter.""What about her?"
"Since you already know about her, I believe it's best if you get involved."
"Okay. What does she need? Name it."
Naruto was the one who talked after Sasuke asked about Sarada's needs. Sakura was still quiet.
"By next year, Sarada will be attending preschool already. So there's gonna be tuition fees, more books, more school supplies. It's still the same like during our time, the school uniforms are still excluded from the tuition fees. I can't seem to coordinate with the school regarding that," Naruto explained."Okay, I'll be paying for her tuition fees, and whatever she needs for school. What else?"
"Uhm, wait, what else does a toddler need? Uhm, I don't really know the brand of the milk she's drinking—"
"You don't have to worry about that, Naruto. I'll be the one to provide her that," Sakura interrupted.
She was still looking at the window, but Sasuke didn't look at her directly as well, he could just see her from the corner of his eye.
"Her needs at home, I'll be handling it," she added."O-okay... so Sasuke will be providing what Sarada needs for school, and Sakura will be providing whatever she needs for at home. Is that good with you guys?" Naruto asked.
They both nodded.
"I just can't seem to think of something else that Sarada may need besides those two major necessities..."
