My face immediately changed. I scrunched my nose and frowned. Bev was still looking at the boy.

"Earth to Beverly!!" Richie said while waving his had over Bev's face.

"Oh! um..what? Sorry I was distracted." She apologetically.

"Yeah. Distracted with your new boy toy." Mike said with a smirk.

"First of all his name is Ben and second...he's not my boy toy." She said firmly.

"What is he then?" Richie asked.

"Um...just a cutie from 2nd period." She said blushing.

Mike and Richie looked at each other grinning.

"Ooooooh! Bevvy's got a cruushhhh." they said in a sing songy voice.

The boy- I mean Ben, heard them. He saw Bev and then waved with a smile.

Bev blushed and waved back. Once he looked away she slapped Richie on the arm.

"Rich! He heard you!" She said

Mike looked satisfied since he saved himself from getting slapped by bev.

"Uh I think you mean to say 'thank you Rich for getting me noticed'" he snapped back.

Mike chuckled and Bev rolled her eyes.

"Guys! He's friends with S-Stanley!" I said annoyed they didn't see him.

Bev looked sorry.

"Sorry Bill! If you don't want me to have a crush on Be-"

I stopped her before she could continue.

"What! Bev no! You can like whoever you want. And you'd be cute together." I said smiling.

She blushed and thanked me.

"I just wanted to tell say, if you two start dating then I'll be nice to him but not Stanley." I said sharply.

She nodded.

~stan's point of view~

Ben turned around and waved at a girl with red hair sitting a few tables from us. She was sitting with that dingus Bill.

"Stan I think you should give it back." Eddie said sounding a little scared.

"His friends are giving us death stares and they look scary." He said.

I looked over to see a boy with dark curls and glasses, and a boy with brown hair and honey colored eyes glaring at me.

I honestly felt bad for taking Bill's book, but no one else can know that.

"Okay! Fine, I will put it in his locker after lunch." I said rolling my eyes and went back to eating.

After lunch, I took Bill's dumb book out of my backpack and put a pink sticky note saying

Sorry dingus.

Here's your book.

I stuck in on his book and stuffed it through one of the holes through his locker. Then I went to 5th period. I had Chemistry. I sat down at my usual seat and saw a blue envelope sitting inside my desk. I grabbed it to see who it could be for. On the top was written: to anonymous in big cursive writing. I don't know what it was, but the handwriting made me feel all tingly inside. Like a firework in my chest. I loved the handwriting.
