"We didn't exactly get to know each other on the jet, like we had planned..." He trailed off, raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah, I guess not." She sighed. "Sorry." She apologized.

"Here, you don't have your phone with you. Why don't I take you out for some food? Instead of here? L.A. has a lot of places to eat." He suggested. "I can actually get to know you a little, and you get to know me."

Jane wasn't the one to pass up free food. "Alright. I'll wait for Julie to get back. I'll let her know." She grinned.

"Where do you think we'd go?" Jane questioned. "Anywhere you want. I'm pretty much down for anything." Luis nodded.

Julie walked out of the restroom, beaming at the two having a conversation. "You mind if I steal Jane for a little bit? I'm going to buy her some food." Luis asked.

Julie smirked, looking at Jane. "You guys going on a date? So soon?"

Jane shook her head. "Nope. I just wouldn't want to pass up the opportunity for free food." Jane joked.

Luis chuckled, "Let's go. Thanks, Julie." Luis started walking out, making sure Jane walked with him. She waved to Julie, catching up to Luis.

"Where do you want to eat?" He asked. "I really don't know..." She trailed off. "In-N-Out. Please." She looked up at him.

"That's fine with me. I could go for a good burger and shake now anyway." Luis pulled out his phone, checking for directions. "There's one about a quarter of a mile away." He shut his phone off, letting the GPS speak out to him.

"Tell me. Your favorite food, and your favorite color, so and so." He inquired.

"My favorite food is Macaroni. But it has to be Kraft or Velveeta. Nothing else." She finished. "What about you?"

"I like a lot of things, it's hard to choose. I don't pick favorites." He sighed. "What's your favorite color?"

"I don't have one. I guess I just don't pick favorites." She playfully mocked.

Luis laughed, looking at his shoes. "Where are you from?" He asked.

"San Diego. You're from Miami, right?"

"Mhm. But like, what's your ethnicity?" He questioned, curious of her origins.

"I'm Bohemian and Czech. There's some other stuff in there, but I'm prominently that."

"Never heard of it. What's the language they speak?" He said.

"Well, Bohemia became Czechoslovakia, which became the Czech republic. I speak Czech." She smiled.

"Wait- what did you say? That just sounded like a jumble of words." He asked, confused.

"Okay, say it with me. Check." She enunciated.

"Alright, Check."

"Ohs-" She waited for him to repeat.

"Ohs."

"Slow." She smiled, seeing him getting it.
