After Gold Star and Cadence had collected Red they had set off to the jungle, Red was wearing his tunic and carried his spear, despite the fact he owned the spear it was indeed not his. He may have said that it was crafted for him but in reality it was a gift from a friend who once owned it, it was in his memory that he would bare the spear his companion held. The heat of the sun beat down upon the trio as they approached the collapsed temple.
"Well this is nice." The Princess of Love said as she looked at the flat land before her, however Red placed his spear in the locking mechanism and the temple rose above the ground. "Oh" the Princess of Love was now embarrassed and blushed lightly.

Inside the temple Cadence then got her camera out.
"This will be great for Flurry." She smiled and Red put the spear in the way of the camera.
"No photos allowed." He growled. "So what did you guys want me to do again?" He asked and looked around, he could read all the inscriptions but he wasn't sure what they wanted him to do.
"Do you know where the layout for Canterlot castle is?" His lover asked, the warrior put his claw to his chin and walked to the main chamber.
"I should do, i mean i know where its hidden but I don't know the exact location." He said and looked at the lever on the wall of the chamber, knowing that Gold Star had already figured out the combination he pulled it down.

After pulling the lever down the floor shifted, the floor then started to lower down into the catacombs below, the darkness was eerie but soon that feeling was gone when a crossbow bolt shot and lit some torches on fire, this dispelled some of the darkness, under the floor of the jungle lay a large catacomb, one that kept the bodies of the Dragon Ponies who died. Gold Star looked at all the stone coffins that would be holding the deceased warriors, did Red put all these bodies down here by himself? There were mysteries yet to uncover. They walked over the stone ground, the stone above them was cracked, it looked like they had eroded away. Getting to one end of the Catacomb which was only a good couple of miles from the center of which they descended from.

Looking at the large golden coffin in front of them a name was carved above them, Ghidar Shitara. This was the King of the Dragon Ponies, his body was put to rest here.
"Now if I'm correct the plans should be inside the coffin." Red said to himself and pried it open, inside was no dead body that would hold a scroll, inside was a locked safe, the safe was magic proof and was waterproof. Putting it on his back Red then turned to the right and saw a coffin, one that was built for him when he would die.

Gold Star and Candence were too busy by looking at the names to notice Red turn, the last Dragon Pony opened the coffin to see if it was empty or not... It was not empty. Inside lay a locked chamber, he then found a key that was next to it, using the key he opened the locked chamber and found his actual spear, he tried to get rid of it after committing genocide on his own family. He was cursed with it, the bonding spell was not broken, he had thought the spear was gone for good. Taking off his passed down spear and putting it against the wall he touched the blade of his old weapon, visions of his family being slaughtered plagued his mind, but he knew better to try and throw it away again.

It was folded down and could be used like a sword, but red put it on his back in the folded form so that it couldn't be seen as easily, this was the spear that Celestias father gave to him, taking the spear that lent on the wall he found the coffin of the one who passed it to him, laying the spear at its final resting spot he sighed and a tear crept its way down his cheek. Getting up he walked to the centre of the lift and waited for his lover and the other Princess to catch up.
"Where's your spear?" His giantess asked with a puzzled look.
"Its final resting spot." Red responded in a flat tone. Once above the catacomb, his voice as cold as steel. "Let us go back." He grumbled and he started to walk outside the temple, Gold Star looked at him with a puzzled gaze but didn't say anything.

Once out of the catacombs he waited for Cadence to use her magic back to Twilight's castle, he could feel his blade speaking to him, to save his future he must unravel the past.

Teleporting back to Twilight's Red placed the locked safe upon the crystal table and used his claws to open the Dragonite box, inside were the plans, however they were written in Dragon Pony, Red pulled out the scroll and looked at the annotations, he wasn't one for reading. The plans showed every secret room within the Canterlot Castle and all the secret entrances too, however one of these secret entrances were turned into a sewer so that was no help.

"Are those the plans?" Twilight asked with a smile and looked at them with interest. "What do they say?" She asked inquisitively and tilted her head to look at the diagrams.
"I do not care for what they say." He grunted and looked at the annotations, something was getting to him, Gold Star got worried and brought him aside.
"Are you ok?" She asked and looked him in the eyes. She was worried for her lover and how dismissive he was.
"Do not take my brashness for anger or sadness." He growled deeply and walked away from her lovers grasp. Gold Star gasped but did not shout, she wanted to help him, maybe a few drinks would help him speak, but then. That would be mean, she would have to talk to him when they were both at home.
