Third Person POV
                          
"You better sleep right away and refrain from watching any K-dramas tonight." Joo Hyuk warns Jisoo before leaning in closer. "You'll do great tomorrow; I believe in you." He kisses the top of her forehead before letting her go. 
                          
"Yes, yes, I know." Jisoo chuckles at her nagging boyfriend, jokingly pushing him away, closing the door to his face. 
                          
After bidding farewell, she tirelessly made her way to her bedroom. Jisoo looked at the clock at her right and sighed upon seeing the time. 
                          
It was now ten in the evening. 
                          
Jisoo proceeded to drop the bag she was carrying, removed the accessories she wore then lazily plopped on top of her bed. Not bothered by her outdoor clothes making contact with her fresh clean sheets. 
                          
Jisoo closed her eyes and her mind immediately flooded with worries about her first day at the hospital the next day. 
                          
She wondered if she had made the right decision to go against her parents request to start her intern year at their hospital. Instead she applied at Samsung Medical Center. Originally Jisoo wanted to hide any ties she had with her parents, being the owners of the best and elite hospital in Korea, Kwon Medical Center.
                          
Jisoo didn't want her privileged status to mask her skills. She wanted to be discovered because of competence and nothing else.   
                          
After an hour of diving into her thoughts, she wearily ended up falling asleep without ever getting unready.

BANG! A loud clash originating from what seems to be Jisoo's kitchen. The loud noise caused Jisoo to jolt up quickly from her deep sleep. 
                          
She looked around and noticed the dimness of the sky from her window. "It still must be late" Jisoo thought. Her eyes then diverted to the wall clock by her door stating the time being quarter past four in the morning. 
                          
Jisoo scratched her eyes, brushed her unwashed hair, and got up sluggishly and decided to check out the fuss going on in her kitchen. 
                          
"Jin Oppa?" Jisoo continued scratching her eyes making sure what she discovered is not a dream. 
                          
"Omo did I wake you up?!" Jin replied to his dazed sister as he continue to lay out containers filled with food. 
                          
"What are you doing here Oppa at four in the morning?" Jisoo asks as she sits herself at her dining table watching her brother. 
                          
"Well Eomma wouldn't stop worrying about you since today is your first day at the hospital. So she asked me to drop off these dishes for you to eat. She knew you'd be very busy at your first year and probably won't have enough time to cook." Jin shares and placed a meal in front of Jisoo. 
                          
A smile immediately formed on her face. Four years living off instant food or takeout food made her cherish home cooked meals more. 
                          
"I'm not a kid anymore you know." Jisoo states just before stuffing her mouth with rice. 
                          
After finishing his task, Jin decided to join his sister at the table. "But you'll always be our youngest. Also our parents are still upset you're not working at our hospital." 
                          
"Oppa I already told you guys why..." 
                          
"Ne (yes), Ne, I know. I understand you. Just don't taint our name okay! You better do well." Jin jokes. 
                          
"Okay I'm going to head out now, you should also get ready! You want to show a good impression on your first day so don't be late!" Jin says his goodbye and exited himself.

Samsung Medical Center
                          
Jisoo stared at her reflection from the glass doors and hurriedly cleaned her attire one last time before heading in. 
                          
Jisoo looked down at her watch to check the time, 6:20 am it read. 
                          
"Phew I'm not late" Jisoo sighs in relief. 
                          
Her first shift didn't start till seven in the morning, but Jisoo being Jisoo wanted to arrive earlier to familiarize herself with the hospital and make sure she knew her whereabouts. 
                          
"Annyeonhaseyo, my name is Jisoo and  it's my first day as an intern doctor here. Do you happen to know where I need to go?" Jisoo approaches a stranger with long blonde locks. 
                          
The stranger brightly smiled back, showcasing her cute cheeks, resembling like a chipmunk. "Omo me too! Come we can head there together!" the stranger cheerfully respond and grabbed onto Jisoo's arm, linking it. 
                          
Jisoo taken aback, "wow she's really friendly." Jisoo thought. 
                          
Immediately after reaching the medical locker room for women, the stranger released her clutch from Jisoo's arm. 
                          
"Omo I've been rude haven't I. Sorry I forgot to introduce myself. Annyeonhaseyo, my name is Park Chaeyoung, but you can call me Rosé" reaching out her hand for Jisoo to take. 
                          
"I noticed you have a little accent with your Korean, are you perhaps not from here?" Jisoo curiously asked as it was the first thing she noticed after the friendly lady spoke to her. 
                          
"Oh, I guess it's really obvious, but yeah I'm born and raised in Australia. I moved here at the beginning of med school." Rosé shares.
                          
The two new friends started unpacking their stuff and put their things in their lockers, then proceeded to put their white coat. 
                          
Jisoo looked at herself in the mirror and admired the embroidery in her white coat. "Kwon Jisoo, M.D Intern Doctor". She smiled reading those letters, she's almost there she thought, almost becoming the doctor she can be proud of.

"I'm Dr. Lee Jong Suk, your resident, the person you will be shadowing for one year. I only have five rules and I expect each one of you to follow if you don't want your internship year to be a living hell." The resident starts. 
                          
Jisoo and Rosé looked at each other scared, and gulps before looking back at their intimidating resident. 
                          
"First, you all are grunts, nobodies, the bottom of the surgical food chain. So know your place."
                          
"Second, I hate suck ups, so don't even bother. I only judge based on skills and that's it."
                          
"Third, do not wake me up unless a patient is actually dying, and when I get there the patient better not be dead." 
                          
"Fourth, on call room are only for SLEEPING, you sleep whenever you can and no SEX!" 
                          
"Fifth, If I page you, I expect you all the be there within a minute. If it means running, then run."
                          
Each intern speedily tried their best to make notes of everything he had said.
                          
Dr. Lee Jong Suk looks back at his doctors who are standing still writing on their small notebook rested on their palms. "What are you guys doing? WHY AREN'T YOU FOLLOWING ME?!" He hastily yells scaring the new doctors.
                          
"Oh man good luck to me..." Jisoo desperately thought.
