"I'M GONNA BE late," Beck announced as she rushed down the stairs. She ran into the kitchen, almost bumping into Sheriff Stilinski in her rush to grab something to eat. "I'm gonna be late. My alarm never went off and I'm gonna be so late!" Glancing around she noticed one person missing. "Where's Stiles?"

Beck knew he wasn't at the hospital anymore, he was supposed to be back. Beck knew this because Stiles insisted on barging into her room at the ass-crack of dawn announcing that Lydia was missing - a girl Beck still had never met. She only knew that Uncle Peter attacked her the night of the formal and she has the bite but not the gift.

And Stiles was obsessed with her.

"He already left," Sheriff Stilinski announced, voicing Beck's fear. She released a frustrated groan as she rushed around the kitchen. Sheriff Stilinski quickly grabbed his keys after pouring his coffee into a to-go cup. "Don't worry, I'll give you a ride to school."

The radio crackled to life as the pair climbed into the sheriff's car. Sheriff Stilinski held the radio to his ear as Beck adjusted her overfilled bag on her lap.

"Rebecca," Sheriff Stilinski said as he put away his radio. "I'm sorry, but you are going to be late. I need to take a detour to the graveyard for a second."

"Okay, but you're going to have to explain this to my teachers," Beck grumbled as she settled in.

Once at the graveyard, Beck noticed how the place was crawling with deputies. Sheriff Stilinski approached a grumpy-looking older man and a familiar lanky boy with dark blond hair.

Beck smiled as she climbed out of the sheriff's car. "Isaac!" Beck called happily as she approached them. Isaac smiled in surprise as the small blonde approached him, looking up from the small patch of grass he was staring at. "Hey."

"Hi Beck," Isaac smiled.

"You two know each other?" Sheriff Stilinski asked, gesturing a pointed finger between the two.

"Yeah, well not really know each other. I met Isaac while watching Stiles and Scott at lacrosse practice." Beck explained to Sheriff Stilinski before turning back toward Isaac, remembering something. "Isaac, I'm sorry, I don't have your hoodie."

"It's okay, you can give it back next time," Isaac smiled before his eyebrows crinkled together. "What are you doing here anyway?"

"Sheriff Stilinski's giving me a ride to school."

"Which is where Isaac needs to be in twenty minutes," the man standing next to Isaac growled. Beck could only guess that he was Isaac's father. Beck could also tell that she didn't like him. There was something about him, especially the fact that Isaac's eyes glanced down towards the ground the minute his dad opened his mouth.

"Yeah, I understand that," Sheriff Stilinski growled back. Isaac continued to look at the ground as Beck glanced up at the two men. "But I've got a missing teenage girl and our canine unit led us here. She's not wearing any clothes and if she's out here tonight when the temperature drops-"

"I'm sorry, I..." Isaac apologized as he looked up to Sheriff Stilinski. "I didn't see anything."

"Trust me," Isaac's father scuffed as Beck started to study Isaac's face. There was something off about it. "If he saw a naked girl outside a computer screen, he'd remember." Isaac's father laughed as Isaac glanced down to the ground.

"Isaac," Beck muttered, grabbing the tall blond's attention. "What happened to your eye?"

"Yeah, that's what I want to know," Sheriff Stilinski added as he studied Isaac's face too.
