The main character, Park Jihye, moves to her childhood town, with the death of her grandfather, willing everything he owned, including his house. Getting a new job, she meets a weird, yet very friendly guy - Jungkook, later becoming the best of friends with him. Although, Jungkook's suspicious actions make Jihye slightly bothered.
One of Jungkook's best friends steals her attention with their very first meeting. One day, she wakes up in an unknown house with seven vampires, further discovering one of them is her long lost brother.
After all the adventures with the EXO, Miryo (a.k.a Yoongi's ex), and the vampires who turned Namjoon, Jihye sacrifices herself for her beloved, later on turning into a vampire with the help of Jin, who's mighty in medicine.
Getting Namjoon's approval, at last, Jihye joins their big family.
Two weeks later
"Okay, baby. Close your eyes, concentrate on your heartbeat. Then open your senses." Jihye sighed, closing her eyes. The process of her heart pumping her blood through her body ringed in her ears.
"Do you feel anyone?" She inhaled, filling her lungs with oxygen, letting all out after. Her eyes fluttered open, "Yes. There's a man hiking around 100 meters from here." She smiled, "He is picking up his water bottle from his backpack. First gulp. Second gulp..." Her words trailed.
Yoongi smirked, "Not bad. Now go by his scent. I will be right behind you." Jihye nodded, letting out a breath again. Using a skill she had gained, her form teleported in a distance of 50 meters in mere seconds. Concentrating on her hearing again, she closed her eyes. With a knowing grin, she ran again.
Stopping behind the bushes, she felt her beloved behind her, "Do you remember everything you learned?" With a nod, she walked forward.
"Uh, hello? Excuse me, I need some help!" Jihye chuckled, "I feel like I'm going in circles, do you know where the town is?"
The man offered a slight smile, "Oh, let's see." He went for the compass in his pocket, when the female placed a hand on his shoulder, engaging in eye contact, "Please, don't move nor make a noise." With that, her fangs appeared while the grumbling in her stomach intensified. Digging her teeth in the flesh of his neck, she gulped on hot fresh blood. It felt heavenly. Her hands trembled with excitement, whole body shook with each gulp. Minor pleasures all over her body harmonized perfectly, making her softly growl.
"Remember: You can't let the hunger consume you, you control it." Jihye, still, continued to nuzzle into the man's neck.
"Jihye. Jihye!"
She retreated from her source of food immediately after coming to the senses.
"Now do what you have to do."
Jihye maintained the eye contact again, "You got bitten by an insect while hiking today. Forget this all happened." With that, the couple vanished before the man came to his right mind. He shook his head softly and continued his walk.
Yoongi chuckled, "That was wonderful, baby!" Lifting the girl he spun her in the air, making her squeal.
"Oh, how did the breakfast go?" Taehyung showed a suspicious smile walking beside Jimin.
Yoongi grinned from ear to ear, "She did wonderfully. I'm actually impressed. You know, she's better than you, Jimin." Taehyung chuckled with Jihye.
"Ha-ha, very funny. I'm rolling on the floor." With that, he entered the house.
"Hey, Jihye. Success?" Namjoon showed his dimples. She nodded with a huge smile, giving the male a high five, "Good job."
"What is in our plans today?" Jungkook groaned from the couch when Jihye plopped beside him, stealing the TV remote, changing the sports channel. The young adult threw her a glare.
Jin cleared his throat, "After talking about it a lot with Namjoon, we were actually thinking about going to the party whoever's son is organizing in their big ass mansion." Jungkook jumped up with exited doe eyes, "For real? With humans?" Everyone else showed somewhat similar reactions to Jungkook.
"Yeah. I think we deserve it." Hoseok jumped and cheered with Jimin and Jungkook, letting out different noises. Either they were having a seizure, either they're too happy.
"I'll go change." Jimin jogged up to his room.
"Yeah, yeah. We, at least, have five hours to kill. Let's go for groceries and watch a movie." Jin tried to calm the excited trio. Yoongi sneaked his hands around Jihye's waist, earning a smile from her.
"Hey, beautiful." Jihye hummed, "Hi, handsome."
A wave of shivers danced on Jihye's spine when Yoongi's breath hit her neck.
"I was thinking of staying in while the boys go for groceries." Jihye smirked, "Tempting."
"Oh, come on, you love the idea."
"I do."
"Deal then."
"You do realize we can hear you, right?" Taehyung's grimace was at the couple's sight.
"And I don't like to hear my sister almost every night, Min Yoongi!" Jimin yelled from upstairs, making Hoseok laugh.

About real food: In this book vampires' main source of energy is (as always) blood, nothing can compare. But they can eat food for taste and if they'd like. Nothing changes. Vampire or not, their body works the same way as humans.
