Jeongguk understood the implications behind the words. Although he had only seen Taehyung with puffy red eyes and running nose, no one could deny that he was beautiful and naive.
And yeah of course the leader would want the young beautiful vulnerable boy to himself As they all did before.
Something ugly stirred up inside him but he consoled himself thinking at least Taehyung had his siblings to care for him.
It was soon dusk and Jeongguk stayed over for dinner with his mother.
It was peaceful and Taehyung too ate something after a lot of coaxing.
Jeongguk didn't even understand why was he getting so worried about the person he just met.
Maybe it was because his mother cared so deeply about him.
Jeongguk's mom wanted to stay for another day and jin was fine exploring the compound, so Jeongguk had no qualms too.
They visited Taehyung's home again the next day since his mother wanted to spend as much time with Taehyung as they don't know when they will be visiting next.
The house was nearly empty with only Taehyung's sister and him being there.
His mother went to the kitchen where Taehyung's sister was working while he sat in the living room with Taehyung in a corner fiddling with something that looked like a phone.
"Hyung got me this But I am not sure how to- can you help me?." Taehyung spoke all of the sudden & Jungkook hadn't anticipated such a deep voice to be of Taehyung's because maybe the other day boy was too immersed in sorrow and had cracked weak voice due to crying but he gathered himself quickly and went over the couch to help him.
It looked like a second hand android phone but better than nothing.
"So I hear you'll be moving soon" Jeongguk wasn't good at small talks but he tried to fill the awkward silence as Taehyung discovered the world of emoticons.
Jeongguk also noticed that Taehyung was quite smart and quick learner despite his upbringing in that place.
"Yeah I have to" His reply was half hearted so Jeongguk pushed a bit more.
"You don't want to?"
"No. No! Hyung is kind and I love him so much but I don't want to be a burden you know, He has his own family and responsibilities" Jeongguk hummed in reply but there wasn't much they could do in the situation.
Taehyung's eldest brother worked in the next town as an small businesses man and Jeongguk agreed that it was the best for him to move there.
"You could just help around the house You know and since you went to school. You could help with the kids homework and all" He said after thinking about it for a minute or two.
He had no attachment with the family and soon they will be a distant memory but just for then he could have a little bit of peace thinking he did whatever he could.
"You are right Thank you" Taehyung smiled at him and he discovered that his lips literally formed a box when he did so and adorable. No he didn't think just that.
"Umm mom once said You live in a big building with windows all over, is that true?" It was the second time Taehyung attempted a conversation and Jeongguk and this time too he wasn't ready, the way taehyung became starry eyes at him.
Instead jeongguk let out a slight chuckle hearing his words. "Yeah it's just one side window." Jeongguk found himself loss of words as how to describe his penthouse windows.
"Woah It's seems unreal I haven't seen anything like that at all" Taehyung's face was full of wonder and Jeongguk was bit saddened by the thought that someone so bright like him has never seen the outside world and might never will.
"Yeah Umm I'll tell you what. I'll save my number here in your phone and whenever you visit Seoul you give me a call and I'll show you everything."
"Okay!" He said it so easily that Jeongguk too believed it somehow.
"Your phone looks better"
"Oh." Well it was better considering it was the brand new iPhone 11 pro he had purchased a few weeks ago. "Well yeah."
"Can I see it?" Jeongguk just easily handed over because there wasn't anything too personal in his phone.
He showed him the fingerprint sensor and how to click a selfie and Taehyung took everything in with equal amazement and excitement.
"I am sending over these to your phone alright" Jeongguk then proceeded to teach him everything and anything about the phone he could.

"At least his siblings are good people" Jeongguk said as they were returning to their cottage.
"Yeah, That's a relief and I don't think it's possible not to love Taehyungie" And he doesn't know why but it kinda caught him off guard.
"Yeah. He is quite loveable. He still has the innocence of a child but he isn't dumb either, he learnt almost everything about the phone in the last hour" His mother laughed at his words.
"I just hope they find a nice partner for him"
"Don't worry they will." Jeongguk didn't know what else to add hoping for the same.
Maybe Taehyung will find a nice one just as his mother found his father. Yeah he wished however.
They had almost reached their cottage when Jeongguk discovered that his phone was missing. He must have left it with Taehyung.
"Are you sure you won't get lost gguk?"
"Mom I am going to be 25 next month so have some faith in me."
