37| missed you

it was one am and taehyung couldn't find the will to drag himself to sleep. he was sitting on the bed, staring at nothing, his thoughts eating him up alive just at that moment.

even though jungkook and yuna reassured him that they won't get married- and he knows they won't- the thought kept crossing his mind, piercing his heart by just the imagination of jungkook marrying someone that isn't him.

the wedding wasn't his biggest problem at the moment, but it was the one that concerned him the most. he doesn't know what jungkook is planing on doing and he is scared that something will go wrong.

taehyung took a shallow breath and let himself fall on the back. he froze on the spot when he suddenly heard strange sounds coming from the window. he tried to ignore it, though when the sound didn't stop, he turned the lights on and walked to the window, opening the curtains, to see what was going on.

he stopped in his tracks.

this isn't real, this can't be real.

taehyung's breathing hitched, as he looked at the bunny smile that he had missed so much, instantly feeling warmer by seeing jungkook again.

the ravenette's eyes soften when taehyung started to cry and desperately tried to open the window, so jungkook can hold him and tell him that everything is going to be fine.

but the window was locked, taehyung's fingers now hurting as he kept going and desperately tried to open it, knowing jungkook is on the other side.

the younger boy's heart clenched at the view and he quickly knocked against the window, to get taehyung's attention. taehyung turned to him, tears straining his cheeks as he gave up on the last string of hope he had. until jungkook held the crowbar up and his eyes widened.

the younger smiled lightly and then signed taehyung to take a few steps back, so that he can open the window, not caring at all that he is going to destroy it. he placed the iron by in the slit between the window and its frame, using his whole strength to break the thing open, at the same moment tying not to fall, since had to climb up a few meters.

taehyung's heart sped up when he heard a crack and then saw the window opening in slow motion, jungkook stepping in.

the moment jungkook's feet were touching the ground, the males ran towards each other, until they fell into a desperate kiss filled with longing and love. alone feeling jungkook's arms around him lets taehyung feel like the safest person alive, the warmth resonating from jungkook's body melting him, as he had missed it so much. taehyung sobbed softly into the kiss and jungkook felt his own tears running down his cheeks, he had missed taehyung just too much.

they cut the kiss off and just hugged each other tightly, trying to be as close to each other as possible. taehyung felt his knees giving up, the exhaustion and sleepless nights now catching up on him. jungkook widened his eyes when taehyung broke down in his arms, he held him tightly, though that didn't change the fact the silver haired couldn't stand by himself anymore.

he looked at his boyfriend worriedly, now studying his face, that displayed exactly what caused taehyung to feel so weak. jeongguk wiped taehyung's tears softly away, before lifting him up and placing him on the bed, not missing how light had taehyung become.

"angel..." jungkook whispered, which made taehyung just cry even more, he had missed it so much.

"y-you are so dumb, i-it's d-dangerous, wh-what if your father-

"shh, don't worry about that. are you okay?"

taehyung's lips quivered a little and he shook his head, clutching jungkook's hoodie. "i-i missed you so much." he cried, wanting to only be held by the younger boy.
