"el, can we talk?" will knocked on the door.
"yes." she opened the door with her powers.
will went over and sat next to her on nancy's bed.
"i haven't talked you since max was over the other day." will said.
el looked down at the floor.
"she's coming by tomorrow." will uttered.
"what?" el looked him in the eyes.
"she likes you, el, and you like her too!" will exclaimed.
"maybe she does, but she screamed in my face and left when i almost kissed her." el reminded.
"i know, el, i know, but that's because she was confused and she was having trouble with her sexuality. i promise you that she likes you, a lot." will explained.
el closed her eyes and sighed, thinking about how it could go terribly wrong tomorrow. max could run off again or she could say that she doesn't really like el.
she was conflicted. el wanted to believe them and see max tomorrow, but at the same time, she didn't want there to be more conflict.
"okay, i guess i'll try to talk to her." el concluded.
"good," will hugged her. "hey, are you going to come get ice cream with us later?"
"no, i want to be by myself." el answered.
will nodded and left the room. el sighed and lied down on nancy's bed, hoping that they would leave for ice cream soon so she could do what she needed to do, alone.
