"911, what's your emergency?" The voice on the phone said.

"T-there's a dead body h-here," Sophie stuttered, still not being able to process what was in front of her.

"Hold on! We will be right there," the voice said. Sophie gave the location she was at and hung up.

"Oh my gosh..." Sophie whispered. She slowly walked around her dead chemistry teacher and kneeled down.

This was unreal. Who could do such a crime?

Sophie observed Lady Galvin and noticed she was bleeding on the stomach. Sophie leaned closer to see that she had been stabbed.

Like Edaline...

Sophie looked and saw that something white was in Lady Galvin's hand. Sophie opened her hand to see it was a slip of paper with writing.

We will come back.

That's what it read. Then it clicked. That's what the man told Edaline.

The stab. The note.

It couldn't be a coincidence. The same people that killed Lady Galvin, tried to kill Edaline. And they wanted something that had to do with Sophie's parents.

But why Lady Galvin?

Suddenly, Sophie heard sirens of an ambulance and cop cars getting close.

Soon, the police were there and they were taking Lady Galvin's body away. The FBI came too. Sophie noticed that Katherine was there too.

When Katherine noticed Sophie, she came over.

"Hello Sophie," she greeted.

"Hi," Sophie said, uncomfortably.

"Well, it looks like we have another victim. Would you mind if I asked you a few questions?"

"N-no."

"Okay Sophie, why are you here?"

The question felt hard to answer, but Sophie did anyway. "To see my p-parents."

"Okay and how did you find this woman?"

"Um well I was about to leave, when I saw that bush move. I walked over and saw that it was a squirrel coming out. Then I saw the body."

"Do you know this woman?" Katherine asked.

"Yes, she's my—well was, my chemistry teacher."

"Hmm that's interesting...did she ever seem suspicious or act weird?"

"Well no, except today. She dropped a glass test tube—and she's never clumsy—and just went home for the day."

"That's strange, but that could just be a coincidence."

"Maybe," Sophie said. She then remembered the note she found and gave it to Katherine. "I found this in her hand."

When Katherine looked at it, her eyebrows rose. "This is very interesting."

"Yeah, and she was stabbed too," Sophie added.

"We will need to look into this. Since you seem to be involved, Miss Foster, I will come by your house tomorrow and give you an update on this and the case for Edaline," Katherine said as she walked away.

Sophie stood there for a few minutes, shocked by the information.

Eventually, Sophie made herself walk home.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?" Grady yelled as she came into her house.

"I was on a walk. I put a note on the table," Sophie said.
