Loki groaned and opened his eyes. His vision was blury. So, very, blury. He reached a hand up and rubbed his eyes. He looked around groggily. That's when he noticed that all the others were on hospital beds, such as himself.

He grunted as he tried to move his arm, but was painfully stopped by a needle stuck into his arm.

"Natasha?" His hoarse voice called out, remembering the previous events. Bruce heard Loki's voice and rushed over to him.

"Are you okay?" He calmly asked. Loki blinked before he hesitantly nodded. When Loki tried to sit up, he was reminded of the pesky needle connected to his arm. He reached across his body and ripped the IV out.

"Loki, no-" Bruce tried, but he was too late.

"I'm sorry," Loki apologized with a small grin.

"It's fine," Bruce sighed as he rubbed his face.

     "What happened?" Loki inquired.

"Well, by the looks of it, an explosion of some sorts. It's amazing nobody was injured from it." Bruce remarked. Loki just nodded before standing up. He noticed that Tony was also awake, but looked tired.

"Pardon me, doctor," The god said as he walked past Banner and over to Tony's side.

"Reindeer games, did you get them?" Tony groggily asked.

     "Get who, Stark?"

"The people! We didn't get them all," His voice sped up in panic. Tony reached his hand up and gripped Loki's shoulder in an act of desperation. All he ever wanted was to save everyone.

"Tony, you aren't making any sense."

"The people, Loki! They said they were here to get you! They're still here, we didn't get them all!" Tony rambled. Loki froze up. His stomach dropped, his heart stopped, and his breathing hitched. Odin was looking for him.

Tony's loud ramble must have woken the others, because now Natasha was now standing on the other side of Tony's bed. Then, a large crash was heard along with the horrid thumps of the footsteps of an army.

Loki's eyes widened as he heard a familiar Asgardian war cry.

"No," He muttered under his breath, slightly shaking his head. When someone with gold armour and a long, untamed beard ran into the room, Loki knew this was no time for fear. He knew that he had to fight, his life quite literally depended on it.

Loki was quick to his feet, along with Natasha. Although Nat was in no good condition to fight, everyone knew she would damn well try to. The assasin ran towards the Asgardian warrior, swinging around him and jumping onto his shoulders. He grabbed her legs in an attempt to throw her off, but she quickly tightened her legs around his neck. And with much force, she managed to flip the both of them over.

Now the two were on the ground. The warrior pulled a silver sword out and swung it at the redhead as hard as he could. She hardly dodged it, and the sword was now wedged into the floor. Natasha took this oppotunity to jump onto the handle of the sword, spring off, and tackle the ancient looking man. As both of them were once again on the floor, she slammed his head into the tile multiple times.

The Black Widow stood up and readied herself for more.

"Okay Loki, are you going to fight, or not? Because if not, you need to get out of the way." Tony asked as pieces of the Iron Man suit incased his body.
