You shifted the gym bag on your shoulder slightly as you raised a free hand to lightly knock on the door in front of you. It was dark out right now and honestly you weren’t sure what you were doing here, but you just knew that you needed to get away from it all for a bit even if it was only for a little while.
                          
You and your brother Ushijima got into an argument which resulted in him saying some horrible things that caused you to finally snap, packing your bags and kicking him out of your life for good. Siblings always argue you knew that, but this time it was over something so childish for two 21 year olds.
                          
Your body was shivering to the core at the sudden downpour of rain, hair knotted, numb fingers and tear stained cheeks made you look terrible. The fact you only had your owl patterned Pyjamas on didnt help.
                          
"ONE SECOND!" You heard an all familiar energetic voice shout, your boyfriends aka bokuto, you have been dating since your 3rd year of high school and he always knew what to say to comfort you.
                          
The door in front of you finally opened revealing a tall captain whom seemed to be looking at you with quite a bit of surprise.
                          
"(Y/N)?! What are you doing here? You look a complete and utter mess, come inside quickly" he ushered grabbing you by the arms and pulling you into his warm apartment. His voice sounded rather surprised, but that was something you should have expected since you had given him no prior warning to your arrival.
                          
Dropping your gym bag at your feet before quickly throwing your arms around his neck and pulling him down toward you. The feeling of his arms wrapping around your waist quickly put you at ease and before you knew it you were spilling everything to him.
                          
"I can't do it anymore kota!... Every time I walk into that apartment he always finds something to pick on me about... I thought that maybe things would change but they haven't! I am done with him! I never want to see him again!" You sobs becoming louder as he just stood their pulling your wet figure into his embrace.
                          
"Why did this happen to me...what have I ever done to deserve such anger from him!" Before you knew it your breaths were getting quicker and you could feel your body start to tingle meaning you were hyperventilating.
                          
"Breath with me Y/N!" He spoke quietly but sternly his arms pushing you back forcing your piercing E/C eyes to meet his golden brown ones.
                          
You listened for a moment as the male hummed in response once your breaths became even. before gently rubbing your back in a calming manner.
                          
"Let's get you changed, and settled down okay! Then we can talk" his signature smile making your forget everything. softly his hands slowly moved from your back into your hair to gently massage your scalp and pull gently at the hair. You sighed in content having always favored head massages and the fact that you hadn’t received one since you had left your family behind made this one all the better.
                          
"I’m sorry for showing up unannounced" you muttered quietly once things began to settle down. You slowly peeked up toward the dual haired captain smiling somewhat when you saw the grin on his own lips.
                          
"Are you serious! You used to show up at my house unannounced all the time".
                          
"Remember that one time in our third year when you stayed at my place for a whole week whilst my parents were away Or that one time during summer break for nationals you stayed a whole month you Burnt everything and stole like 4 of my hoodies!" he spoke up grin growing when he heard you stifle your laughter against his chest.
                          
"I burnt everything? I clearly remember someone arguing with me that they were a better cook than me" you said laughing out loud now as you playfully punched his side.
                          
"Yeah, well" he stutters trying to think of something to come back with but unfortunately he couldn’t think of anything and ended up laughing alongside you.
                          
"Well I'll ask this time, can I stay with you My lovely boyfriend?" you asked eyeing the inside of his house and the small audience you had gained which consisted of his parents. 
                          
"Of course my beautiful girlfriend" he spoke planting a kiss on your cold lips.
                          
You smiled at him before finally pushing away from him and moving to greet both his parents as Bokuto picked up your bag watching his mother escort you to the bathroom.
                          
"I'll always comfort you, even when it becomes to much" he mumbles quietly heading up stairs to unpack your bag in his room.
