Rena looked towards the empty seat beside Hyemi. She felt bad for the girl, losing her best friend must have been hard for her. Jaemin noticed Rena staring and poked her arm, getting her attention.

"There's nothing we can do about it." Jaemin told her, stroking her hair. Rena smiled at his gesture and nodded.

"Plus, they're going to start the surveillance missions right when school ends every day this week." Jaemin added. The board members had decided to send a different group out every night this week to cover each of the locations.

The sound of Miss. Ahn closing the door caught their attention, signalling the start of class.

...

"Lucas, ready to go?" Mark ask his collegue. Lucas, nodded as he finished gearing up. The two boys met the rest of the group of agents going on the surveillence mission that evening.

Taeyong looked around the group, most of them board members. His team for the night consisted of himself, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Mark, and Lucas. They worked well together and often went on missions together. They called themselves the "BOSS" team.

For this mission, they weren't in their regular black outfits. Instead, they wore casual clothes, leaving their pins at home.

"First surveillance mission everyone, have your eyes and ears open and most importantly stay out of sight." His team nodded as they attached their microphones and placed their earpieces in. Doyoung took his place in the centre seat of the control room, the screens around him.

"The contacts you all put on earlier will allow me to see all that you see." He told them, turning the screens around him on. Each of them showed what one of the members saw. Doyoung pulled up a map, a red circle marking their target location. Doyoung zoomed in, allowing them to see an abandoned warehouse.

"This is the first location. If you can get in without being seen, go for it, but watch for cameras. I'll be talking to you all from here. " Doyoung said. "Best of luck." He gave them a smile.

Taeyong nodded to Winwin, as the faerie boy opened a door for them to go through.

"Let's hope this won't be a bust." Jaehyun mumbled to himself as he went through the doors.

...

"Jiwoo, focus!" Sora excalaimed. The witch was getting frustrated with her mentee's lack of focus. The Boss team was out but that didn't stop the rest of them from training. Today, Ten was working on improving their weaponless fighting skills through duels and watching each other. Jiwoo was up against one of the group's youngest, Chenle, and she was not doing very well.

As Jiwoo was knocked down for the third time, Ten raised his hands to a "T" signalling Chenle to stop.

"Sora, take Jiwoo to the backroom to debrief. Jaemin, Jisung, get on the mats. Good job Chenle." Sora nodded to Ten.

Chenle reached his arm out to help Jiwoo up.

"Thanks," she muttered before they stepped off the mats, Jaemin and Jisung coming on. Jeno gave her a small smile as she walked by.

Jiwoo followed Sora as they made their way to the backroom.

"Jiwoo, what's wrong?" Sora asked her, passing her a bottle of ambrosia to heal her wounds.

"I feel guilty. It should have been me, not Naeun. The poor girl can't even fend for herself." Jiwoo replied, taking a sip from the bottle.

"Look, I know it's hard but what's done is done. The best thing you can do for yourself and everyone else is focus on your training. It's good practice too, because sometimes we're put in tough situations but still need to fight for others, so try to block out your thoughts and focus on you and your opponent, okay?" Sora said to her.
