     Earlier that day...

     (Y/N)

Pretty basic morning, nothing out of the ordinary. This was the last day we would be spending in this 'New World'. If I remember correctly, after we finish cleaning up all the corrupted files of everyone, having them all gather around the Literature club on the day of the School Festival, which is right now, a portal will open and pull us all out of this, and into reality.

I take out a heavy sigh, sitting back at the dining room chair, thinking about how we're finally done. Another stressful event and I might actually snap. Not to mention these constant headaches that seem to never go away, it's like something is drilling my head. It so bad I've been having noise hallucinations too... Thanks to that, I didn't get much sleep.

"Hey, are you okay?" (S/N) looked up from her breakfast. "You seem to be thinking about a lot of things these few days. The School Festival been to much for you?"

I glanced at her, but didn't answer. There's no point anyway. I stand up from the table and headed out.

"H-hey, are you seriously ignoring me?" (S/N) yelled. "What's gotten into you? You can tell me you know..."

"Shut up." I groaned. "You aren't real, and you're impression of her sucks..."

"What?" I heard her voice deepen.

I walked out of the house, a sound of glitching and a screech was heard from the kitchen. It was silenced when I close the door behind me and continued on to school.

Goodbye, virtual home.

As the entire school became busy preparing for the visitors that would come in a few hours, my club mates were no exception.

"Are you sure you guys want to go through with this?" I asked.

"Of course!" Yuri shouted enthusiastically. "W-we must not put all our efforts to waste!"

"Yea, I mean, even if everything isn't real doesn't remove the amount of things we had to do for prep!" MC sighed. "Might as well leave the place with a bang."

I didn't say anything else. I only continued to help out, I guess I can give them this... Though they need to let go of this world, even if they were created here they're about to leave to a new one. Any impression they had here will just be gone forever.

Time soon passed, the school was open to visitors...

"Hey, (Y/N)!" Monika smiled, carrying two signs that were gonna be used to advertise our club. "Let's go to the entrance with these!"

I nodded, grabbing one of the signs. It was a simple marking of the play title, time, and location of the literature club. All made with the familiar handwriting done by Yuri. Following Monika out, we made our way to the entrance where crowds of NPCs began to storm in, stopping by the food stalls outside or making their way in the school.

Monika took the lead as she waved around the sign while shouting "Please come to the Literature club!!" while doing so. This isn't something I thought I'd be doing again after getting enough members for it, boy that arc was a fiasco.

I also held the sign up high, but didn't really bother shouting. And not that I'm saying I expected anything but everyone that had passed by seemed to only ignore me, sparing no glance at the sign I carried up.

"Hey, look!" One of them finally noticed the sign. "Should we check that out?"

"Pfft, a play? Nah, seems lame. Dude holding it doesn't even seem enthusiastic about it too." The other one laughed as they continued to walk by.

I sighed. "Man, why do I even bother with these NPCs?" Letting down the sign to rest my shoulders, making it lean on my body as I take out the control panel.

As I began to fidget with the code. A few NPCs from the crowd would occasionally stop walking, look at the sign and continue to walk to the Literature club. It's so simple, I'm a fucking god.

"Why isn't it happening?" I pondered, looking at the roof of our clubroom. "Everyone's here, in the damn club, all those amalgamations were dealt with, (N/N) is dead. What's there left? Time?"

I looked to the front of the clubroom, as it was filled with NPCs. Sayori, MC and Yosuke were one stage doing one of the scenes as the show continued. I stepped out to take a breath.

"Hmm? You seem tired." Monika approached me, she was wearing her attire for the show, she was now just waiting for her cue. "You aren't even performing, yet you seemed to be more worried than Yuri."

"Oh, no... it's nothing." I sighed. "Go on, your scene is almost up." I pointed back at the club.

Monika only looked at me worriedly as I looked back out the corridor's window. From the reflection I saw her look down before walking back in.

Maybe I've been spending too much time with her, because in my reflection, I swear, I had green eyes.

What the hell... The day's almost over yet nothing is happening. There isn't a portal that just suddenly appeared in the club, neither is there some kind of magic light from the heavens to call out our name. Were we supposed to make it? What, can someone give me some obsidian and flint and steel?

As I overhear the others plans to walk around the school, I began to get nervous. Shit, did I miss something? What'll happen if we finish the day and we don't get out? Will everything go to waste?

I stretched my hands, trying to act casual. "Alright, let's clean up now, I guess..." A sigh escaped my mouth which was followed by everyone groaning. "Look just this one tasks guys and we're pretty much free until... the thing."

"Man, were gonna leave this place anyway. We're not gonna get scolded for not cleaning up." Yosuke groaned.

"Just do it." I told him. I needed everyone to stay here while I thought of something.

The Vice President came in and called for Monika, she just had to go apparently. With her gone, making one missing character in the club. I took this chance to think of anything that could have been left out. As everyone continued to clean, I walked out of the classroom and kept thinking. Pacing my way back and forth in front the classroom, not minding any stares of the passing NPCs.

There's got to be something else... but what is it?

       What's missing?

I need to delete it now!!

I fell to my knees, grabbing my head. We've come THIS far! We can't fail now! Why isn't there a portal appearing? What thing is blocking our way?

"Woah, (Y/N)?! What happened?" Someone came out of the clubroom. They dropped a garbage bag that they were carrying and rushed towards me.

I looked up. My eyes widen. Pushing them off as I backed away. "No...no way."

"Dude? What's wrong?" Eyes of concern looked at me. But I didn't notice that, just that god forsaken face...

"How are you still alive, (N/N)?" I furrowed.

"Huh? No dude!" They smile awkwardly. "I know were look the same, but it's me MC!"

      "What's the difference?" I said.
