*3 years later*

I take a deep breath before turning around to stare into the mirror. My breath stops in my chest. I hardly recognize the person in the mirror.
Hawks has spent all morning getting me ready and I can't believe my eyes. He has truly worked wonders.
My usually untamable hair is nicely trimmed and styled, still fluffy but more of an organized chaos. My suit is a deep emerald with a white button down underneath and a dark green and cream tie.

I turn to look at my best man with tears glistening in my eyes, a smile on my face

I turn to look at my best man with tears glistening in my eyes, a smile on my face. I race to him for a hug and whisper a million thank you's in his ear, trying to hold back from crying.
"Izuku, don't cry, this is your special day! Be happy! Also, I don't want Shoto to kill me for making you cry" he chuckles nervously. I giggle and nod.
A few minutes later Dabi walls into my dressing room and stops in his tracks. I look behind me to see Keigo looking at his husband with the same awed expression.
After a moment, Touya seems to snap out of his trance and looks at me. "Shoto is ready and at the altar. Are you ready to begin?" Without hesitation I nod. I've been waiting for this day for so long.

Walking with Sho, hand in hand through the woods, I've never been happier. He looks so at peace out here, like this is where he belongs. He is breathtaking.
We make to our picnic spot, the same one we've used for the past couple of years. It's a small but roomy clearing, far away from prying eyes.
We walk through the ankle high flowers, setting up our blanket and food in the middle of this safe haven.
I rest my head on Shoto's shoulder as we eat, nothing fancy, just sandwiches and water, same as always. The destination is more important than the food.
"Izuku," Shoto begins after we finish eating. "I want to ask you something."
I look up at him, lifting my head off his shoulder. "What is it, Sho?" He stands up so I follow.
"Izuku. I've loved you since the day I saw you walk through the university doors. The way you smile, the way you see the best in people, the way you help people.... it all makes me love you more. When I first saw what your father had done to you, when I thought I was too late, all I could think was, why him? Why the person whom I love more than my own life? How could he die? I wished there was a way to trade places."
I grip Sho's hand, tears streaming down my face, "But you didnt die. Instead, you woke up and became stronger. You moved in with me, and that was one of the happiest days of my life. But when I found out you felt the same way... I thought I was dreaming. Theres no way this pure little cinnamon bun"
I giggle a bit through my tears, "Could feel the same way about me as I do him. But, again, I was wrong. When you were taken and he touched you, I went into a blind rage. I'm still glad I'm the one that sealed out his karma. And now here we are. I've thought about how to do this for a while now, and this seemed like the best option. So..."
Shoto kneels down and pulls out a box. I stop breathing.
"Izuku Midoriya. Will you make me the happiest man ever and marry me?" He opens the box to reveal a simple silver band with a line of emerald through the middle.
It takes me a moment to find my voice, but once I do, I immediately exclaim "YES!"
He slides the ring onto my finger before kissing me, sealing the deal.
