However they weren't stood out there for long. After showing the bouncer their ID's, they were both let in and smoke immediately filled their lungs. It was so dark and the only reason they could see each other was because of the strobe lights that were flashing to the beat of the song.
"Just sell whatever you can and be quick, got it?" Parker instructed Lewis, who nodded. They went their separate ways and weaved their way through sweaty bodies and dodged drunk dancers.
He felt like he was sixteen again, desperate for cash and willing to do anything for the approval of his shit father. This was before his life with Jack and Holden. It was before the days of hanging out with Dylan and Jasmine and Arthur. He hated to admit it, but selling drugs in clubs at sixteen wasn't even his lowest point. His lowest point was when he was nineteen. His lowest point was the incident, the secret he was so desperately trying to hide. Sadly, this part of his past wasn't the part he was most ashamed of.
Fuck, what would Will think? What must Xander think of him? Xander didn't even know the extent of it.
After about an hour Parker had sold everything on him, and he was looking for his partner who was nowhere to be found. He searched and searched and called his phone at least ten different times. But the chances of him hearing it ring over the music were slim.
If they were sixteen again, where would Lewis be? Think Parker, think. He grabbed at his hair and pulled at the ends in frustration. Flashbacks of Lewis smoking out the back flashed in his mind and he burst out of the door through the back entrance. His memory served him well, and he shook his head at the unfortunately familiar sight.
The back alley was empty aside from Lewis who was on the floor with a man on top of him, knife to his neck threatening to kill him if he didn't give him the drugs he was owed.
"Oi! Get the fuck off him!" Parker yelled. Panicked, the man looked at him but he smirked rather than let his partner go.
Then the whole scene played out in a matter of seconds. Lewis was being stabbed in the stomach, and Parker was shooting the stabber in the leg before grabbing his friend and fleeing the scene.
"I'm gonna get you to a fucking hospital," Parker assured him.
Frantically Lewis shook his head. "No! No... just... You can't t-take me there."
"Yes. I am," Parker argued, helping his friend to the car.
"They'll arrest me! I'm wanted for all sorts Hayes. You have to understand... J-Just take me to Nathan," Lewis begged, in obvious agony. Nathan was Parker's Dad.
Reluctantly Parker agreed, the situation all too familiar.

Violet's Father's wedding was beautiful. It was a beautiful service and the weather was magnificent, the sun beaming down on the bride and groom and their guests. The reception was also amazing and everything was outdoors, with a snack table as well as a five course meal to be brought out to everyone.
The Lockwoods were all on one table and for once there was no tension. It seemed like everything was going smoothly and Will's parents were happy to see Jack dancing with Violet on the dance floor. They were swaying to the music in between course three and four of the meal, and an old Ed Sheeran song played through the speakers. It was cliché, but sometimes cliché was a good thing. Cliché was better than chaos.
Violet rested her head against her boyfriend's chest, not hating the wedding as much as she thought she would. The purple dress wasn't so bad after her Father admitted that he wanted that theme because she was named Violet. It warmed her heart to know that despite her parents being divorced, and her family being split across two different countries, her parents still loved her. And now she was going to have her own family.
