A nice warm wind, the sweet smell of flowers at full bloom, and the sound of water drops falling, even though the sky is sunny without a single sign of clouds much less rain, the sudden feeling of being tackled down whacked the short boy's chest.
"Ow!" the now captured ghost let a small groan, not because of pain but his defeat, feeling restricted by some kind of weight, pulling him down to the ground, he lifted his gaze expecting to see blue eyes and instead meting crimson red ones staring widely at the ghost's amber pupils. The unknown weight was, in fact, a girl.
"E-eek, I- I'M SORRY!" the girl apologized with teary eyes wearing a remorseful expression, still sore from the fall, she brushed the hair off of her forehead, her face few inches away from the ghost.
Magenta eyes, cream-colored hair, that unmistakable voice.
"...Yashiro?" the ghost murmured, he looked at the girl in front of him with wide eyes and mouth open trying to let the words out yet, not even a single sound left his lips. He was dumbfounded
"Why do you-" the cream haired girl started to say but stopped in the middle of the sentence realizing her current 'position'. She was on top of the boy in an awkward posture, her face started to redden as she was trying to get herself up. The movement made Hanako come to his senses.
"...Is it really you?" the ghost asked with uncertainty. She started to walk away from the spot, then turned her face to him, still with flushed cheeks.
"...Have we met?" she asked.
The world stopped for a moment.
Hanako just doubfoundly stared at her, speechless. Time seemed to stop at these words.
The girl looked akwardly at him and asked "Have we not met before?" As if she really didn't know any better.
The words went through him like knives.
"Why?" He raised his voice. It was a broken sound that came out of his mouth, many emotions stirred within him. He stepped closer to her, one step at a time, eyes fixed on her figure with a pained expresion. He stopped just a fair distance away and slowly reached out his hand to hers, hesitantly trying to take it. She saw it and let him take her hand, his fingers trembling, the careful touch sent a wave of sadness through her.
Hanako's expression became more and more helpless as he talked. "Don't you remenber? Me? Everything?"
The girl that was in a short daze came to herself and qiucly withdrew her hand, taking a few steps back. "I don't recall anything" She rubbed the hand that was held, still feeling strangely nostalgic, but there was nothing, she didn't know this person at all. "aren't you mistaking me for someone else? I just came to have a talk with the Leader of the wonders, I need to introduce."
Hanako froze.
Was it really not Yashiro? no, that can't be. Clearly the girl in front of him looks just like her, the eyes, the hair, even the ankles. Everything is the same, except for the clothes she is wearing, similar to a fusion of a school uniform and a kimono.
"What do you mean by that?" The boy asked, desperately searching for something that would explain this situation.
"Are you perhaps Hanako-san?"
His face lit up. "¡Yes! ¡I'm Hanako!" 'Surely, that thing earlier must have been an ilusion, there is no way yashiro would forget about everything. '
She bowed lightly and spoke in a calm and polite voice. "My name is Nene. I've been in charge of the 8th Boundary and was told to report to the leader. It's a pleasure to meet you, seventh."
Suddenly, hanako felt as if a bucket of cold water fell on him. He stood in his place for a long time, even Nene became anxious with his behavior.
'Has she done something wrong? that's right, she did fell on him a while ago.'
"Er- I-I apologize for bumping into you before." Nene said nervously, trying to explain. "I just came out of one of my portals and didn't check before going out."
Two small mysterious-looking fishes, one light green and somewhat shiny, and the other deep black, suddenly appeared around the cream-haired girl, fluttering and giving the impression of cheering her up.
"Ugh...Hanako...you bastard..."
The voice of a guy came from the floor, both Hanako and Nene looked surprised at the place where the sound came. Kou was laying in the ground, rubbing his head as it seemed to pound, he was knocked out when they crashed into each other, covering the most damage as he was the one to lay at the bottom and the other 2 on top, crushing him.
"Ah..." A tear fell down the exorcist cheek as he looked up. He quicly got up and ran directly to the girl, knocking her down as he clung to her in a hug.
"¡Senpai!" He repitiedly called while hugging her. Hanako observed speechless, everything was a mess, he could not think properly at the moment but, most importantly, ¿¿aren't they too close??
"Wait, wait, ¡move away!" He forcibly tried to separate the 2, but the boy was firmly clinging to her and not letting go. After some time, he was able to separate them, Kou still tearign up and Nene shocked, laying in the ground.
"Hanako." Kou glared at the ghost with a pitiful, yet relieved expression, asking. "this is not a dream right? She's really here" Hanako just noded akwardly while patting his shoulder. Even he couldn't belive all of this.
"Hng...I...¿W-what is this?" Tears began to fall uncontrollably from her cheeks, embarrassed, she quickly fled the place. The pair of fish began to swim in circles on the ground and eventually a liquid surface formed, she jumped on it without further delay, disappearing completely.
The boys looked at the scene stunned. She dissappeared as if the earth had swallowed her.

Note:
I wanted to add a little something on this chapter, when I was writing this I had a clear picture of "that" particular scene in my head, unfortunately, I'm just now adding that drawing now because, well, i kinda forgot how to draw. (not really, just being to perfectionist until I was like, fuck it, just do it.)
Anyways, I hope you guys like it.
