I need help, I can’t find Emma, I'm getting worried. What if Rick hurt her, or worse. No, don't think those thoughts. I must have fallen asleep, I awoke the next day at 8:30, remembering that I didn't have school. I got up, took a shower and went back to Rick's house. I’m not giving up that easy. I went to his house and opened the door, I went to his room to find him not there.
I decided to call him to see if he wants to hang out. “Hey man, wanna hang out today.” I said hoping he would say yes. I needed to get my mind off of things. “Sure.”
“okay meet me at the park at nine.”

We met up at the park, I haven't heard from Emma. Abby hasn’t even called or texted her at all. Emma was never the party, flirty type. I figured Rick was the last to see her. “Rick, when was the last time you actually saw Emma?”
“I told you the night of the party. Why are you so obsessed with her, ya’ll broke up, She’s probably out with some guy.”
“See that’s what Abby said, Emma isn’t like that.”
“Dude, she flirted and cheated on you with everyone.” he said, making my blood boil, knowing he was lying. “She wouldn’t do that.”
“Is that all we are going to talk about is her.”
“ I’m just wanting to know where she is. I still care about her.”
“Well she’s moved on.”
“ with who?”
“Me” I rolled my eyes. Did he just admit to kidnapping her?

I didn’t believe that. “She can’t stand you,” I said, seeing the change in Rick’s eyes. I left to go back home, about an hour later. I couldn’t stand it when he said that. I was thinking of all I've actually seen in his house. I have never seen the basement. I’ll ask tomorrow.
I’m trying Em, I really am.
