It had seemingly been one long week for Clay Jensen. Like he expected, Justin had asked him about why he had been passed out on the floor in front of the bathroom that Monday morning. The baseball player ended up telling his brother the truth, and, surprisingly, Justin didn't react as badly as Clay expected him too. Sure, the football player was understandably mad and shocked at the same time, but that was about it. In fact, that conversation had actually brought the two brothers even closer than they already were, if that's even possible.

Now, with the weekend finally in sight, Clay and his teammates were excited for the final classes of the day to come to an end. It was Friday, which meant the team had a baseball game tonight, though it was an away game. Soon enough, everything was packed up and everyone was all set to head out. Clay and Darell sat together on the bus, with the blue-eyed male taking the window seat. Even if the team was heading towards enemy territory, the young man was pretty excited about tonight, because playing against the Arizona Wildcats meant that he would have a good chance of running into a high school friend of his.

A little ways into the bus ride, Clay felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Pulling the device out, the young man smiled to himself once he saw an incoming FaceTime call from his girlfriend. "Hey, Hannah." The 21-year-old greeted with a small smile after accepting the call request. "Hey, Helmet." The young woman replied with a bright smile once she saw him. "What are you up to?" She asked curiously after taking in her boyfriend's surroundings. "Oh, we're just on the road, heading out for an away game tonight." The young man replied.

"Hey, who's the pretty girl you're talking to, Hammer Time?" A voice asked from behind the young man. Clay glanced above him to see Roger smiling down at him while resting his crossed arms against the top of Clay's seat. "She's my girlfriend." The Jensen male replied as he still looked up at his teammate. "Oh, the drop dead gorgeous Hannah Baker who you always go on and on about?" Roger asked loud enough for the young woman to hear his words, causing the blue-eyed male to blush in the process. At his words, and after noticing her boyfriend blushing, Hannah smiled brightly to herself. "That would be the one." The 21-year-old said with a small nod of his head. "Well, good catch, Hammer Time. I can already tell she's a keeper." Roger said with a grin as he pat his teammate's shoulder before disappearing from the camera's view as he took his seat and began conversing with Zach who had been sitting beside him on the bus.

"I just have to ask, Helmet. What's with him calling you 'Hammer Time'?" Hannah questioned after having heard Roger refer to her boyfriend as that twice. Clay smiled to himself as he rolled his eyes. "It's just a nickname he came up with pretty early on in the season. It's caught on, because everyone on the team calls me that." The young man explained. "Not just the team calls you that." Darell piped up from beside his friend, leaning in a bit to get into the camera's view. "The coaches and coaching staff, and even die hard baseball fans call you that too." He added with a smile. "Really?" Hannah asked, sounding impressed by the nickname Roger had come up with rather than like she was questioning it. Suddenly, movent could be seen on Clay's end of the call, as well as shouts of protest that could be heard. Within a second or two, Darell appeared to be holding his friend's phone now.

"Oh, totally. The nickname started out after the first few games that we won at the beginning of the season. It was basically like no one could touch Clay, no matter what. Pretty quickly, Roger came up with Hammer Time as Clay's nickname, because of "U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer. Plus, he claimed that it just seemed like a really cool nickname. It all just went from there, and Hammer Time became the nickname that most everyone calls Clay now." Darell explained. "Plus, he's got some MC Hammer-style dance moves up his sleeve. I mean, have you seen your boyfriend do the Running Man? Or even the Moon Walk, for that matter? Because that boy can Moon Walk just as good ad Michael Jackson." Darell said, snickering as Clay tried and failed to steal his phone back from his teammate.
