Preeta was busy arranging the files and selecting designs.
Preeta : (in mind) ye designs to mere khayal se last time select hui thi, ye... Uff mujhe samajh nahi raha hai kaun sa aayega.
A knock landed in her door.
Preeta : come in.
Pratik : (coming) preeta, ye mam ne tumhe diya hai.
Preeta : ye kya hai ?
Pratik : I don't know, shayad se koi assignment ki copy hai, aur ek new employee ka resume.
Preeta shrugged her shoulders.
Preeta : (rolling eyes) fine, rakh do yaha par...
Pratik : ok.
Keeping it on table, he went from there.
Preeta : (making faces) yaha na logo ko bohot zyaada samajh me aata hai.
She stood up, and went outside. "Managing director" was written over it. She knocked it, and received 'come in' as answer.
Preeta went inside and stood narrowing eyes.
"Whatt ??" Exclaimed pia checking files.
Preeta : what is this (extra sweetly) mam....
Pia : ohh this, maine pratik ke haatho tumhe bhijwaaya tha. Tumhe verify karna hai bas.
Preeta : (annoyed) ughh.... Pia, you very well know I just hate this.
Pia giggled.
Pia : (acting to strict) preeta, who gave you authority to talk with your boss like this.
Preeta looked her with "really ?" look.
Preeta : boss in your dreams...
Atlast pia burst into laughter.
Pia : (laughing) ohh god, preeta look at your face.
Preeta : dii, please ha stop it. You know this is not at all my work, and how much I hate it. Then too...
Pia : (giggling) so what preeta ? You are Director of this company, you should be habitual of this.
Preeta : ohh seriously di, I am employee too, and meri post se related aisa koi nahi hai work ok... (Rolls eyes)
(Note : Acc to Company's Act 2013, a director can be employee of company. So don't be confused 😶)
Pia : aww, bura maan gai, I was just joking baby, was just pulling your leg.
Preeta : ohh really (smirks) then do this outside this cabin.
Pia's expressions immediately changed from smile to stern.
Pia : preeta, kaam ho gaya ho tum jaa sakti ho.
Preeta : (mimics) kaam ho gaya ho to jaa sakti ho. Mujhe shauk bhi nahi hai yaha rehne ka miss. super strict. Huhh....
Preeta turned and go. While pia nodded her head smiling.
Pia : iska kuch nahi ho sakta hai, except karan ise sudhaar nahi deta tab tak. (Chuckles)
Outside the cabin....
Preeta : waise ye karan kaha gaya hai ? Mujhe use designs ke baare me baat karni hai. Itni der se gayab hai.
She started to find her here and there.
Preeta : kahi shoot par hoga to, lekin usne mujhe bataya to nahi tha. Kya pata wohi ho, jaakar dekhti hu.
