'Yeah, I'll be fine.'
'Besides, they're saying he defeated the Hero Killer even though it was actually his son who helped out. I want to see if there's any shame on his face.'
'I actually wanna see his face too.' Y/N smirked as she ruffled Izuku's hair. 'Stay safe, okay? Sho and I won't be there next time. And get well soon.' The brunette smiled as she slid her hand into Shoto's and left. 'Do you think my mother would be proud of me?' Y/N commented as they walked hand in hand towards the train station. 'She would be very.' Shoto replied, gripping his costume case tighter.
Throughout the two days left of their internship, Endeavor finally found time to tell Y/N what he knew about charmspeak. 'Your mother was one of the most skilled wielders of it I've ever seen.' He confessed when Y/N confronted him about it the next day. 'Charmspeak is actually fairly simple to understand. Think about it from their point of view. Instead of saying something like 'I want you to', try something like 'Don't you want to'. I've witnessed Yui do that on countless occasions and soon realised that it was more useful and effective. Try that next time. Now get out of my office and go find something to do with Shoto.' He shooed the baffled brunette out of his office, slamming the door in her face, leaving the girl there, blinking stupidly.
'Oh, dear.' An amused voice behind her made Y/N whip around. 'Anyway, since we have free time now, do you want to go on a date?'
'So... so straightforward?' Y/N stuttered, clutching onto her phone. 'Yeah. It isn't that hard of a question, you know. I want to take you to a place that you like. So, you coming?' Shoto cocked his head, studying the silver eyed girl. 'I have nothing to wear.' She whined, a sneaky gleam in her eye. 'You can wear my hoodie.' Shoto sighed, seeing through the girl's intentions easily.
Y/N squealed happily and dashed off yelling, 'I'll be back!'
Within minutes she had returned, wearing one of Shoto's black hoodies that hung on her slim frame, down to her mid-thighs, covering up her wound just nice. She wore casual denim shorts underneath and a pair of sneakers, her hair done up in a messy bun. 'Let's go!' Y/N cheered, dragging Shoto along. 'Where are we going?'
'The park near UA. I know it isn't very fancy, but there's a field of flowers we never noticed.' Shoto answered, scratching the back of his neck. Y/N's eyes lit up. 'I love flowers. Can we stop by the oak tree too?' 'Sure.'
...
'I love you.' Y/N smiled as she snuggled closer to Shoto. 'I love you too.' Shoto replied as he casually slung an arm around Y/N, pulling her closer.
'Y/N?' A voice that the brunette hadn't heard in a long time rang out in the sweet-tasting spring air. 'Himari.' Y/N's voice took a defensive tint to it. 'Look at how attractive you've got! Congrats on getting into UA!' The raven haired girl grinned, the smile never reaching her eyes. 'Well, thank you.' Y/N replied coolly, running her fingers over the grassy ground.
'And you got second place in the UA Sports Festival?'
'Yes, I did.' Y/N answered, sitting up. 'Well, good job! Who's this cutie with you?' Himari asked, twirling a piece of her hair between her fingers and winking in an attempt to woo Shoto. 'I'm taken.' Shoto deadpanned, glaring daggers at the girl.
'You're cute though.' Himari bit her lip, trying to seduce the latter.
Y/N rolled her eyes as she stood up. 'I'll be back.' She stated as she bent down and kissed Shoto's cheek. 'She has no sense of fashion at all.' Himari attempted at a sultry tone as she settled herself next to Shoto, who inched away blatantly. 'That's my hoodie she's wearing. Are you implying that I have bad taste in clothes?' Shoto asked with raised eyebrows.
Himari flushed. 'Um... I'm talking about her shorts and her sneakers.'
'Well, I think they're better than your skirt. Even so, Y/N would look better in it than you.' 'Do you think so?' Y/N stood in front of them, holding a bunch of daisies in her arms. 'Yes.' Shoto declared, making Y/N smile widely. 'Thanks, Sho.' The brunette plopped down onto the grass, staring at UA's school compound in the distance. 'Do you think 1B got to go on internships?' She asked as she fiddled with the petals on one of the flowers. 'Sometimes I feel bad for them. 1A students always get all the attention.'
'Yeah.' Shoto agreed, shifting away from Himari once again. Y/N snickered when she witnessed the action. 'What are you laughing at? He's obviously more interested in me than he is in you!' Himari yelled, waving a fist in the air in an attempt to scare Y/N.
Y/N began sniggering. 'If you call that interested, then I'd like to see someone uninterested in you. And I believe you two haven't met properly. How come you're already trying to cuddle up to him like you're his girlfriend or something?' The silver eyed girl remarked as she pulled long, thin grass from the ground, her skilled fingers braiding stalks of flowers and blades of grass together, soon creating a crown of beautifully weaved daisies.
The girl's eyes seemed to glow in the afternoon sunlight as she carefully and excitedly placed the flower crown on her boyfriend's head and squealed happily afterwards. 'You look like a prince!' She giggled childishly, her phone camera snapping away. 'Then I take it, that you are my princess?' Shoto whispered, pulling Y/N closer and tucking a daisy behind her ear.
'Uh...' Y/N stammered, blushing furiously. 'Never thought about that...' Her voice trailed off
'Cute.' Shoto chuckled, pinching Y/N's cheeks and conveniently ignoring Himari. The ravenette coughed awkwardly, drawing the couple's attention onto herself. 'Oh, you're still here?' Shoto asked in a bored tone. 'Can you leave now? You're ruining the mood.' Y/N complained.
'Ahem. Here's my number, call me anytime you decide to ditch this loser.' Himari handed a slip of paper to Shoto, who burned it to a crisp without a second glance. 'Um... I'll see you soon, cutie.' Himari walked off, wiping her eyes.
'Uh... I think we made her cry.' Y/N stared at the girl. 'She should've known better than to mess with someone who's already taken.' 'That's true.' Y/N shrugged, gathering the rest of her flowers. 'Can we take these home for decoration?' 'Of course.' Shoto brushed Y/N's hair from her face. 'I'll call a taxi, it's getting late.'
...
'Shoto?' Y/N asked as they cuddled in their usual position on the futon that night. 'Hm?' The male opened an eye. 'I had a great time today.' Y/N smiled. 'I did too.' Shoto replied, humming. 'I love you.'
'I love you too, Shoto.'
Another cliche scene where a girl tries to get the guy. I actually kind of like those, to be completely honest. Originally Y/N was supposed to react in a much more passive-aggressive, villain like way, but after careful consideration, I decided against it because Y/N's character isn't the type who does those kinds of things to spite others. Sure, she can be passive-aggressive as heck, but she isn't one who resorts to scaring others with her powers.
