Senku's POV
"Senku, I think... that it should be fine for us to work together. Dependent on some conditions." The so-called Ukyo Saionji voiced out from the other-side of our phone.
                          
Oh, my~ If Ukyo, with his sharp ears lends us a hand, It'd be a seeeriously huge help, but... I thought to myself, thinking on if I should take this guy seriously on us or if he would be beneficial on the group.
                          
"Conditions, you say~..." Gen spoke to my right as I see a smug look on his face "Want to tag me in, Senku-chan? Bargaining... Should be a job for a mentalist."
                          
"Sounding each other out back and forth is a waste of time. Just get to the point. What're your conditions?" Ignoring the panicking mentalist next to me I resounded my answer to the mic.
                          
"Ok. I get it. I have two conditions: Don't let anyone die and finally I want you to save someone." the responder replied, I became sort of surprised by the sudden use of English.
                          
I smirked to myself as I answered back "Heh heh... yet again, you're a hard one to read, Ukyo. Are you simply an idealist, brimming with kindness? or else-"
                          
"Idealist? Far from it. I'm the most cowardly person there is." he interrupted me "I know It's hard to redeem that cowardice. But I just..." he paused for a moment before resuming his sentence "As a human being, in this kind of world...! Isn't that all we have left...!? If you can promise that no one will be sacrificed, I'll cooperate with you. But if you kill anyone, then I'll-"
                          
"Heh heh heh, interesting! I'm up for it!!" I exclaimed, seemingly impressed by his whole speech
                          
"Even with that gruelling battle coming up...!?" said Gen shakily with a shocked look on his sweating face.
                          
"Not a problem. Didn't we say we wanted to avoid killing anyone from the start? We'll just turn that 'want' into a 'must'!"
                          
"Thank you." Ukyo expressed his gratitude "Thanks to that, I'm now sure of one thing. (Y/N) was right all along about you and when Hyouga attacked your village, this is what he reported: 'All my subordinates were killed by Senku's  Tricks.' That's wrong! The culprit wasn't you! It was Hyouga!! Tsukasa and Hyouga... May be similar in strength, but besides that, they're entirely different beasts. I can't sit around much longer. Someday, blood will definitely be spilled-"
                          
"Yeah yeah." Getting bored by the conversation already, I stuck my pinky into my ear "Anyways... who do you wanna saving?"
                          
"You would know her, it's (Y/N)."
                          
"We'll save her once we have Tsukasa's empire in our hold." I replied as I thought through the plan: Acquire the cave, acquire the Empire, acquire the girl, simple.
                          
"You don't understand..." his answer made me raise my brows in confusion
                          
"Understand what?"
                          
"She's dying..."

"WHOOAAAAAH!!!" I exclaimed in excitement as I started up the tank onwards to the Cave of Miracles with the others running alongside the vehicle "It's the explosive appearance of our fun paper craft tank! Isn't this thrilling...!!"
                          
"Does this cannon fire!? We don't have gunpowder..." Gen asked
                          
"We'll use..." I held out a disc shaped object in front of me "Leather rupture disks-... a kind of safety valve!!"
