place in someone's life.Life isn't always sunshine and butterflies.
Sometimes you got to learn
to smile through the pain.How would you like to enhance the story—by deepening the characters' emotions or refining the dialogue?
Here's a revised version:
As Tiara excitedly discussed her wedding plans, Anthony's gaze remained fixed on Amara, who shifted uncomfortably under his stare.
"I have an appointment at 11, so I need to go. Come on, Amara," she said, gathering her things.
"You go ahead; I have some matters to discuss with her," Anthony replied, shutting his laptop.
Confused, Tiara glanced at him as he approached and unexpectedly kissed her. She was taken aback but kissed him back, hugging him tightly. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Amara's expression—was it jealousy or hurt?
"I'll see you later," Tiara said, stepping out.
"Amara, I want you to help plan my parents' anniversary party," Anthony said, sitting on his desk and looking at her intently.
"Why not find someone else? I'm busy," she replied, shoving her handbag into her purse.
"I can't. I heard you're the best, and I need someone who can pull it together quickly," he leaned in, his breath tinged with alcohol, nearly brushing against her lips. She hesitated, then leaned back in her seat, catching his gaze.
"I can handle it. What kind of party?"
"It's a 45th anniversary bash. Plan everything you want, and then we can go over the details," he said, returning to his desk while stealing glances at her as she began organizing the event.
"It's time to go", they pack their things up and lift out she sigh heavily she did not want to be here,she was already upset that he didn't remember now she has to spend the hole day with him and his parents.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Amara POV
"Hello", it was unknown number calling me I look over at Anthony he glimpse at me.
"I thought I told you to stay away from my family now your on the god damn front of the newspaper what did I tell you would happen if you get close to him huh", said the man I can't believe it's him not after 3 years it was already bad as it is.
"It was not my plan it not as if he remembered" I spoke angrily I don't care who he is I'm tired of people tell me what to do and how to live my life."You know what happened last time you mess with me Miss Miles this is my last warning" he spoke in a serious tone I hang up on him and threw my phone in my bag this day can't get any worse.
Here's a polished version of your passage that maintains the original intent:
---
"Is something wrong?" he asked, concern in his voice. The last thing I wanted was for him to pry into my business. He might act cold and harsh to others, but I knew he was a kind, sweet guy underneath.
I didn't answer. It was probably best to keep my distance, at least for now. We stopped outside a jewelry store.
"I have some stuff to pick up," he said, stepping inside. I pulled out my phone as it dinged with a message.
"Stay the hell away from him. The last thing I want is for him to remember that all you ever did was ruin him."
I rolled my eyes, tired of the threats. My gaze drifted to the ring he had given me the day he proposed. God, I missed him. I missed being around him, missed giving him a hard time.
