Wedding Plans with Drew Tanaka

                                    

                                          
I woke up. Percy's arms were around me. sweat beaded up on his forehead. He was having a nightmare.
                          
"Percy wake up. I'm here. You're okay."
                          
He opened his eyes quickly and shuddered. "Gaea. She's trying to manipulate me. She told me you don't care about. She said-- she said when the time came, you'd reject me. Obviously, she meant our wedding. Annabeth, is it true?"
                          
I was appalled. "Percy! Snap out of it. I love you more than anything. You promised me on the River Styx that you would never leave me. And guess what? I swear, on the River Styx, that I will always love you, Perseus Jackson, and I will never leave you." Thunder rumbled in the distance. The oath was sealed. He relaxed and kissed me. "Today we have to plan our wedding, Wise Girl."
                          
I got up and put on ripped skinny jeans, a baggy Camp Half-Blood shirt, and one of my dad's old aviator jackets. I grabbed a couple of snacks from the kitchen and shoved them into my bag. I sat down and ate a waffle. Then, I had time to dress Estelle, feed her and change her diaper. Percy met me in the kitchen an hour later. "Percy, you lazy butt." He smiled sheepishly at me and scarfed his waffles down. Finally, we were ready to leave. He kissed Estelle on the nose, and gave Sally a hug. We walked down the stairs (Percy was scarred from using elevators ever since the Chimera incident in St. Louis.) We called the Gray Sisters taxi and told them to take us to Camp Half-Blood. I don't think they realized who we were because they didn't really talk to us. When we arrived we went straight to the lake to puke, much to the annoyance of some local naiads who only excused us because Percy was the son of Poseidon. We walked to the Aphrodite cabin hand in hand. People stopped to look at us. Some people waved at us. I recognized some of them, like Nico and Will and Katie and Travis Stoll. Katie was holding a baby and they both had rings on their fingers. I wished we could have stopped to say hello but we had an appointment with Drew Tanaka to organize our wedding. We stopped at the Aphrodite cabin and knocked at the door. No one answered. We knocked again. Percy pushed open the door and peeked inside. Drew was sitting on floor kissing a Sherman Yang from the Ares cabin. I cleared my throat loudly and they pulled away and looked up at us. Drew's face was red and the Sherman quickly ran out the door, also looking red.
                          
Drew stood up, "What do you losers want? Oh wait. I forgot. You're getting married. How can you two lame-os get each other and I can't even kiss a guy without getting interrupted."
                          
She sat us down in front of a desk and arranged some papers, "So, you guys are like booked to get married in three months. The pavilion is booked for weddings up until next January. So, yeah. I already have a cake picked out for you guys, blue chocolate of course. With blue frosting. So yeah. Annabeth, my mom has taken your dress from the Zhang's wedding and dyed it white and added a veil and train. Flowers are blue and yellow roses, Percy you're wearing the same thing as you did at the Zhang's excpect for that horrible tie that will just be blue. Thalia and Harley are your Flower Boy and Girl and Ring Bearers, and the Piper, Calypso, and Hazel are your bridesmaids, Leo, Frank, and Jason are your groomsmen. So it's basically the same as at the Zhang's wedding except for you're the ones getting married. Any questions? No? Good. Now GET OUT OF MY CABIN!"
                          
We walked out of the cabin and sat by the lake for the rest of the day. When the dinner horn sounded we went to get dinner and left afterwards. Percy called Blackjack to take us home. Today had been very busy and yet relaxing and short. We didn't arrive until after 8:00 pm. Sally and Paul were on the couch watching TV. They smiled and waved at us but saw the exhaustion in our eyes and let us go into our room. Percy and I changed into our pajamas. I pulled on some red and black P.J. pants, fuzzy blue owl socks, and a fluorescent yellow Nike sports bra. Percy and I cuddled under the covers until he fell asleep and started drooling.
                          
I held him closer to me. "I love you Seaweed Brain." I whispered into his ruffled hair and I breathed in his ocean smell. I realized how lucky was to have him and was super excited for our wedding. Eventually I fell asleep and my mom, Athena blessed me with dreamless sleep.
                          


                          
Hey guys! Sorry for the short chapter. But I was having an off day and didn't feel like going into detail. The next one will be better because it's PERCABETH'S WEDDING!!!!
