If there couldn't be five frickin birthdays for Dick that'd be great

For the sake of this story, his birthday is March 20th because out of all the dates it makes sense for a circus to perform in the spring because you have like the easter holidays and things like that??

Idk I'm trying to rationalize a fictional character's birthday which is pointless in itself

Starfire was putting everybody's birthday on the calendar when she realized she was missing Robin's. She couldn't remember him ever telling her his birthday now that she thought about it. "Beast Boy, do you know Robin's day of birth?" she called from the kitchen. Beast Boy was on the couch playing video games as he usually was. He thought for a second then shook his head. "Nope, what about you Cy?"

"Uh now that you mention it, I don't actually know." Starfire frowned at this. Surely they should know their leader's birthday. How else would they be able to celebrate it if they didn't know? They even knew Raven's birthday despite her constant protests insisting on no sort of celebrations. She couldn't blame her really since her birthday seemed to only bring about trouble but it had to feel sort of nice to have someone say happy birthday or just to acknowledge that when she wanted one, they'd already know the date. "That's odd," she stated simply. She finished up the last birthday and looked through the calendar just in case their leader had already put it down. He was always one to over-prepare. There was no mention of his birthday. The rest of the days were filled up with the regular stuff like when they should stock up on food or when some of them had to leave for family affairs. It was then when Starfire noticed that Robin didn't have many of those family affairs days. Well, he had one. It simply said Robin off base and a time frame for when he was gone. "Maybe we missed it so he didn't mention anything," Beast Boy suggested.

"But then he would tell us for next time right?" Cyborg said, poking a hole in the theory.

"I'll go ask him. I'm sure he'd love such a celebration," Starfire concluded with a blissful smile. The boys nodded, soon forgetting the issue when they refocused on their game.

The alien found her leader in the training room. He was having a conversation with Raven about some mission details or other as he practiced his kicks whilst she hovered over the treadmill behind him. Occasionally she'd use it to stretch her legs but it was mostly just so she could cheat the workout system they had in place that required her to run so many miles. "Friend Robin, may I ask you a question?" Starfire called sweetly. Robin turned to her and nodded with a curious expression. "When is your day of birth? It looks like I'm missing it," she continued. He tensed upon hearing the question and went back to practicing his kicks.

"You don't need to know," he responded. His response caused Raven to become intrigued. If it were that simple then she wouldn't have told anyone her birthday either.

"Oh but I do. How else will I know when to make preparations for a party?" Starfire insisted.

"I don't celebrate it," he stated coldly. His kicks got harsher as the conversation continued which didn't go unmissed by either of the girls watching him. He wasn't usually so stern with Star so his change in tone alongside the increase in violence was telltale for something going on. "Oh. Well, you should still tell me. Cyborg will need to update your age-"
