Unfortunately this was not the case.

"No! Absolutely not! If I want to marry someone and love him then I wouldn't want him to kidnap and keep me in his lair for God knows how many years!"

Aichi frowned and let out a sigh, he just didn't know how to win a woman's heart, let alone her.

"I need to take a moment." He said and excused himself.

-

"It was you, wasn't it?!" Misaki exclaimed in anger as she approached Kai who was sitting on a huge stone.

"What are you talking about?" Kai raised his brow, looking at her in confusion.

"Stop acting like you do not know, Kai! You brought her down to the underworld, didn't you?!"

"So what if I did? I wanted my brother to be happy so I had to help him get the woman that she wanted." Kai replied, crossing his arms.

"She is NOT supposed to be there! If she stayed in there forever, this place will be in drought and nature will not be happy!" Misaki yelled. "Of course you won't care since all you ever do is pick up women and impregnate them for your own desire!"

"Shut your mouth!" Kai yelled back as he stood up. "I do not wish to be insulted by the likes of you!"

"So what? Are you just going to stand there and watch as nature wilts because the Goddess of Spring isn't here?!"

"Tch." Kai groaned in defeat, he cannot let trees and plants to wilt as well. "Alright, I will join you to bring Kourin back."

-

"My wife, are you still mad at me?" Aichi asked as he brought her a tray of apple pie.

"Who wouldn't? And what's that?" Kourin asked him back.

Aichi then smiled widely, "Apple Pie. I made it just for you."

"No."

"Why not?"

"Who knows what you might've put in there. There could be potions."

Aichi sighed, scratching the back of his head. "I did not act like a cook only for my food to be disregarded."

Kourin just glared and looked away from him and crossed her arms and legs. "Leave me alone."

Aichi nods and left immediately.

As Kourin looked back at him while he was walking away. She could sense that he is lonely and is totally infatuated by her. She doesn't really know what to do here, all she wants is to come back home.

"Hey…" She spoke.

Aichi's ears perked up and turned back to her, he smiled. "Yes?"

"Why are you doing this, really?"

"Ah…" Aichi approached her and sat next to her. "I guess you could say that I wanted company, and the fact that I have fallen for you is just…" He chuckled. "I don't know, I felt my heart beating as if I'm a living deity."

"Who are you… exactly?" She asked.

"The God of the Underworld," Aichi replied.

Kourin touched his face and caressed it with her hand. She gave a small smile and she spoke. "For a God like you, you don't really seem harmful."

"I don't? I'm the God of the Underworld, doesn't it scare you one bit?" Aichi replied.

"I am scared, who knows what will you do to me? We're strangers, unbeknownst to each other of what we might be hiding."
