"you'll be fine taehyung, just take a painkiller for your head." the nurse said, dismissing the two boys after he had inspected the boy's head.

"thanks seulgi, see ya." taehyung thanked, hopping off the chair.

"bye seulgi." jeongguk added, before they began to walk out.

"see you soon, boys." she said with a fond smile as she shook her head at the two males.

yes, taehyung & jeongguk were on a first-name basis with the school nurse. why? well, let's just say they ended up here a lot whether it was tae or gguk who was hurt, sometimes even both of them.

"now what? do you have class?" jeongguk asked once they got into the hallway.

"yeah, a theory lesson." taehyung said with a look of disappointment.

"awh, is taetae sad?" jeongguk asked, teasingly.

taehyung shoved him lightly, "shut up~ you know i hate theory! why can't i just paint my shit instead of learning about other painter's life story? is that really too much to ask?"

"i get it tae, but hey, maybe one day you'll find an artist that actually intrests you... or maybe you'll learn about a new artist who you could get inspiration from?" jeongguk said, trying to make his best-frienemy see on the bright side of things.

"yeah i guess, but it's still boring as shit though. like, do they seriously think that ANYONE in that class wants to learn about mark rothko? his work is so not my style and he's literally just as boring as his paintings. how did he even get famous?! his work is just painting an uneven box of colour onto a canvas! a six year old could literally do that if you told them to for god's sake! i swear to god if we have another lesson on him imma-"

"taebear, you're rambling about your artist stuff again." jeongguk said as he pushed a lock of hair behind taehyung's ear.

taehyung's eyes widened for a second and he shook his head, "oh shit sorry."

"it's okay, i get that you're really passionate about this art thing but hey, maybe he had meaning behind his work?" jeongguk said. he'd seen the work before and, to be honest, he hoped it had some sort of hidden meaning because, if not, it was honestly concerning how the artist got recognition for drawing coloured rectangles.

"they must have some deep hidden message that i'm just not getting because there's no way he's famous for painting rectangles! i refuse to believe it."

sometimes jeongguk felt like taehyung was able to read his mind.

he chuckled and pushed tae into a neighbouring wall.

"i'll race you to your class." he said, before sprinting off down the hall

taehyung gasped and realised he was already at a disadvantage so he bolted after jeongguk in a hurry.

"OH MY GOD, NO FAIR, YOU STARTED WITHOUT ME!"

"TOO BAD, CRYBABY!"

it was later in the afternoon, classes were over for all seven boys and five of those seven were all gathered in jin and hoseok's dorm room as they'd said earlier.

"where the frick are taehyung and jeongguk?" jin said.

"no idea." said hoseok who was running around the dorm with a nerf gun.

"me either." said namjoon as he ducked down to avoid a bullet from hoseok before standing back up and shooting his nerf crossbow at him.

"i swear to god, you two are literal six year olds. you're actually having a nerf battle in a college dorm." yoongi said.
