"Ow!" Alia cringed as she sat up from her sleep. Her hand immediately went to her wrist as she tried to rub the pain away. She looked down to her wrist only to realize that something was missing. "Bellamy!" she scorned as she looked up to him sitting in front of her. "What the hell did you do?"
"I took off your wristband," he answered casually.

"Why?"

"Do you really think that when the Ark gets down here that they're going to forgive everyone for their crimes? Come on, Alia."

"So, you took away my choice? Maybe I would have let you take my wristband off. And what happened to agreeing to disagree?"

"I never said that I wouldn't take it off." Alia sighed and stood up before she tried to walk away. "Hey, where are you going?"

"To try to figure out how to make tents out of the parachutes and trees."

"I'll help," Bellamy offered as he started walking after her.

"No," she put her hands up. "I need to blow off some steam so I don't punch you."

"You shouldn't be out there alone," Bellamy said as Alia continued walking.

"I'll find John, but I really don't want to talk to you right now," she said with her back to him as she walked off, trying to find Murphy. As she walked amongst the teens, she finally found the once she was looking for. "John," she called. "John!" she said again as she got closer. "John," she said as she turned him around by the shoulder.

"What?" he asked, obviously not happy that he had been pulled away from the conversation with his friends.

"Can we talk? Please? I need help." Alia asked.

"What could be so important that you needed to interrupt me?"

"John..." Alia said, not understanding what was happening.

"Alia, just leave me alone!" Murphy yelled, pushing her by her shoulders. She stumbled back a few steps, but caught her balance easily. She could finally see the full extent of the new person he had become. She held back her tears as she pursed her lips and nodded her head before turning and walking back to the dropship. She walked inside and slid down the wall, bringing her knees to her chest and closing her eyes, allowing the tears to fall.

"Alia?" a voice asked and she quickly opened her eyes and wiped the tears off her face.

She stood up to greet the boy who had just walked into the ship. "Wells, hey," she said, putting on a fake smile.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. Everything's fine," she lied.

"Where's your wristband?" he asked, seeing it was gone. Tears fell even though Alia tried to suppress them. "Hey," Wells said softly as he wrapped her in his arms. "What happened?"

"Bellamy took it off while I was sleeping. I left before we got into a fight and I went to talk to John, but he's a completely different person. He wouldn't even talk to me. He pushed me away, figuratively and literally," she cried.

Wells pulled her out of the hug and held her shoulders as he checked her over. "Did he hurt you?" he asked, eyes scanning for visible injuries.

"No, he just shoved me a few steps," she said, drying her tears. She took a breath. "I should get started on the plans for the tents."

"Alia..."

"Wells, please. I can't think about this anymore. Just let me work and then I'll be okay."

"You sure?"

"Yeah," Alia said after she took a deep breath. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to bury the bodies of the two kids who died in the landing."
