I set the suitcase on the floor and stood up straight, placing my hands on my hips. My blue eyes look over to my left seeing an open view of water. A smile spreads against my lips when I hear footsteps coming close.
"This place is amazing!" Chloe states. I turn around to see her placing her sunglasses on top of her head. Her hair sets perfectly in a bun, while she wears a cute coral blue tank top with black shorts. Flip flops on her feet, revealing her black nail polish placed on her toes. "Beca?" I jump at her voice coming out of my thoughts and admiring her.
"Ruby did good," I say, breaking the silence. A smile spreads to Chloe's lips as she nods her head up and down. I turn away from Chloe looking back out the window, feeling her stand next to me. Slowly, I turn my head to lock eyes with her's. A gentle smile inches to her lips. My eyes look from her own down to her lips and back to her eyes. She looks away gently before I feel our fingers interlock. I glance down seeing our hands together and feel a slight tug from her. I look up quickly and see her beginning to walk to the glass. I follow, watching her slide open the sliding glass door and taking a step out onto the porch me following right behind.
She lets go of my hand, slowly. I wanted badly to keep hold of her hand, feeling some sort of emptiness when she let go. But didn't do anything but let my eyes trail her body as she walked to the barrier that kept us from falling. I slowly walk over and stand beside her, resting my arms on the barrier, looking out to see the water sparkling. A smile tugs on my lips hearing a soft sigh. I turn my head slowly to see Chloe pulling out her phone. I watch her as she snaps a picture and posts on Instagram. I shake my head and look out, a smile placed on my lips before I feel her arm slip through mine, and her head resting on my shoulder. I don't dare move. My eyes slowly move to look down seeing a soft smile on her lips. I look forwards once more and feel my lips part.
"I think this trip is going to be good...for the both of us," I whisper. I feel her shake her head up and down on my shoulder, moving my tank top. I look down at the ground seeing pavement and some people with two kids walking in their bathing suits. I look up a bit noticing a pool, but why would you go to the pool when there's a beach just a little bit more out. I shake my head at the thought and feel Chloe pick up her head. I turn to look at her and she grabs my hand.
"Let's go to the beach," She says, gently. I tilt my head, giving her questioning eyes. "You were thinking out loud." A chuckle escaped her lips, as she looked at the people I had been looking at. I feel heat rise to my cheeks and I look to them, biting my lip. "Oh don't act shy! Come on! No one's down there." I sigh, to the point she couldn't hear me and nodded my head. A wide smile spread against her lips as she squeezed my arm and ran back inside. I stood where I was, leaning against the railing, admiring the sun as it was beginning to set. But eventually I stood up straight and made my way inside finding Chloe walking into the restroom. I took this chance to change right where I was into a bathing suit.

We walked down to the beach, seeing mostly everyone leaving. But that didn't bother us as I felt her fingers interlock with mine once again. I felt my heart race, my breaths becoming uneven but I didn't care. It was time to make things right. Time to make new memories and hope this time everything is right. Everything is perfect.
We got down onto the beach, seeing as it was practically empty. The only other people we saw were down the beach, nowhere near us. I pulled out a blanket and set it down, placing our towels on one side and then placing our shoes on the other, to hold the blanket down. When I'm finished I see Chloe taking a seat, a smile still placed on her lips. A smile formed on my own as I climbed onto the towel, taking a seat beside her looking out to the view of the water and the sun going down behind it. Slowly I pull out my phone and get to the camera. I glance over to Brittany who sits up and looks at me.
