"Hey, Co-Chan?"
"What is it, Kai?", Conan asked who was sipping his coffee while looking over a case.
"You know how the old geezer challenged KID again?"
"I don't like where this is going, but continue."
"Should I accept it?"
This almost led Conan to drop his coffee. "What?!"
"You heard me. I'm bored, and wouldn't it be fun? Like in the old times? Plus, I wouldn't prank you, and you could laugh at Hakuba. Isn't he always complaining about you?" Kai took a breath and then proceeded to talk in Hakubas voice," Why is a child here? This is a job for adults!"
"Then go ahead, but don't tell me what you have planned."
"Of course not Co-Chan, or you wouldn't have fun."
"But what about your stuff? Isn't it at your old home?"
"Don't worry. After your parents gave us the mansion, I went "home" and took everything."
"One of the secret rooms?"
"Yup!"
"Should have known. But I just have two requests."
"And what would that be?"
"One. Put Hakuba in the most embarrassing thing you have. That's good blackmail for Haibara."
"That was my plan and the seconded one?"
"Make two notes and give me one."
"Sure thing. I can imagen them trying to figure the heist note, not realizing that there are two."
"I guess you should get to work?"
"No. Tomorrow, let's go to sleep. It's late."
-The next morning with Nakamori-
"Chef!"
"What is it!"
"KID has sent a note!"
"WHAT! You won't escape this time KID! You disappeared twice without a word, and it won't happen again! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! Give it to me!"
"There you go."
"What the hell is this?"
After a good hour, they called Hakuba.
"So you couldn't figure out what the note means?"
"That's why we called you," Nakamori said handing Hakuba the card.
"What the bloody hell?"
"So you can't solve it?", Nakamori said, a little smug.
"It's like something is missing."
"Well, I think there is nothing missing. The note looks like it's in one piece."
"What are we going to do?", asked Hakuba.
"I don't want to do this, but we will have to inform the kid."
"Who?"
"The KID-killer. I think he is now solving murders or something?"
"Edogawa Conan?"
"Yes. That was his name. Does any of you know his number?"
"I know where he lives."
