Arthit's eyes moved to Kong, who was not frozen in place, tears threatening to fall. He immediately pushed the girl away. Kong had already left the office, and Arthit chased after him. Kong had an unnaturally fast pace, Arthit was having trouble keeping up.

Kong was only trying to go to his favourite spot, to gather his feelings. He didn't know Arthit was following him. Kong's favourite place happened to be the terrace. He swiftly moved into the elevator. Arthit had to take a different elevator but kept up with Kong nevertheless. This was one of the times when Arthit felt, time would stop. That he could go back in time and correct things. The elevator was moving so very slowly. Seconds felt like hours.

Arthit got out of the elevator and started looking for Kong. Finally he found Kong looking at the buildings, at the edge of the terrace. He heard a soft sniffle, and he immediately paled. Kong was crying. Arthit had made him cry. He was responsible for it.

Now only about a metre away, Arthit let out, "Kong." It barely came out as a whisper.

"I only wanted to invite you to my birthday." Kong mumbled. Arthit's head hung low.

"P'Arthit," his voice was shaky. "Tell me clearly. What am I to you? What are we?"

"Kongpob," Arthit didn't have the words. Kong was directly facing Arthit now. He got a glimpse of Kong's bloodshot eyes, and his tear stained face. Arthit tightened his fists, digging his nails in his palm. Kong sighed, and closed his eyes.

"If you don't want me, just say it." He said with all the strength he could muster, eyes still closed.

That was Arthit's breaking point. Before he could register, Arthit closed the gap between them, firmly placing his lips on Kong's. Kong gasped, and his eyes fluttered open. He tried to push Arthit away, but Arthit was stronger. Kong's hands clung to Arthit's shirt, all attempts to push away had failed.

Arthit's lips moved roughly at first, but it slowed down, becoming gentle, softer. Kong closed his eyes, his anger slowly melting away. This time his hands were holding Arthit for support. He could feel his legs turning to jelly. If not for Arthit holding his waist, he would fall. The kiss grew more and more passionate with each passing second. It was like Arthit was answering Kong's question, through his actions.

After what felt like ages, they both pulled away, gasping for breath. His eyes were now questioning. Arthit's own eyes were filled with desire. They stared at each other, both at a loss of words. Then Arthit finally said,

"You are the only one I want, Kong."

He calculated Kong's expression, which was unreadable. Kong said nothing, just slowly put his arms around Arthit, pulling him into a hug. With his face close Arthit's ear, he whispered, "Thank you, phi."

"Kong." He spoke. His hand moved to Kong's hair, to gently stroke it.

"Hmm?"

"That girl in my office," Kong tensed a little, but he didn't stop stroking his hair.

"It was an accident. She is my business colleage from overseas. She just came to inform me about the new developments." Arthit spoke slowly.

Kong relaxed a little. "It's okay, I trust you." Kong smiled in Arthit's embrace.

After that they went back to grab something to eat, since both of them hadn't eaten anything since morning. Everything seemed peaceful, as if the storm had just calmed.

"So Kong, what were you saying about the birthday?" Arthit asked while sipping his pink milk. Kong's eyes lit up.

"My friends, May and Aim, have decided something. They won't tell me yet, but they said I could ask you to join. They both seem really excited about it."

"Umm sure." Arthit said, a little hesitantly.

"What's wrong? You don't want to come?" Kong asked nervously.

"Nothing." Arthit dodged the question. But Kong was still eyeing him.

"I just don't like that girl around you." He mumbled.

"Who May?" Kong chuckled. "Are you jealous?"

"Not at all!" Arthit spoke quickly.

"P'Arthit, she's Aim's girlfriend. They've been together for years. I only like her as a friend, and sister." He explained. Arthit was both shocked and relieved when he heard it.

"Is that so?"

"Yes!" Kong just laughed.

They sat together a little longer, then went back to their work.
