a few days later, savanna is at her apartment eating dinner and doing school work when her phone starts ringing.

savanna slides her finger across her phone screen and bryce's face pops up on her screen. she props her phone up against her laptop screen. "hey b, what's up?" she asks. 
                          
"b?" he questions. 
                          
"it's your nickname!"
                          
"i miss you" he pouts. 
                          
"awww, i miss you too" sav blushes. 
                          
"what are you doing?" he asks. 
                          
"eating dinner and doing school."
                          
"gross. school."
                          
"well it'll be your loss when i have a job that can support my family and you won't."
                          
"what if it's our family?"
                          
"you wish" savanna laughs, thinking he is just flirting. 
                          
"lowkey do, though."
                          
"bryce, we've been on one date, how can you think that?"
                          
"everyone knows me as 'the fuckboy' and think i just play people, but you're different, sav."
                          
the girl blushes, "jesus, bryce hall being sweet. what else is new?"
                          
"fine then, remind me to not be nice to you" he jokes. 
                          
"you know what?"
                          
"what?"
                          
"take me on a date" savanna says. 
                          
"that sounds more like a demand than a suggestion" bryce laughs. 
                          
"you would be correct."
                          
"you're bold."
                          
"honey, i know."
                          
"so when? like now?"
                          
"sure. just pick me up and we'll just drive around."
                          
"alright, bet."
                          
the pair says their goodbyes and hang up.
                          
roughly 30 minutes later, bryce is at savanna's doorstep. "i didn't think you were serious" sav laughs, opening the door for him. 
                          
"of course i was! you said it was a demand" he says, enveloping her into a hug. 
                          
"well, let's go then!"
                          
they get into bryce's car and he asks, "so where to?"
                          
"let's go to the beach!" savanna exclaims.
                          
the pair sit next to each other in the sand, enjoying the comforting sounds of the waves rolling in and out. 
                          
the sun is starting to set and bryce takes advantage of the beautiful lighting to take some pictures of the girl. he takes a few before she notices. "what are you doing?" savanna asks.
