Keita and Y/N walk through a hall towards a room. Y/N is more than overjoyed to be with his mother again. Keita and him stop in front of the door.
                          
"You ready?" Keita asks him
                          
Y/N takes some deep breaths.
                          
"Okay, I'm ready." Y/N answers
                          
Keita pushes open the door. Vale turns around and looks at Y/N. They stare at each other before slowly approaching. Vale and Y/N stop just a few inches between each other. The Nighthawk helmet opens up, so he can he see his mother with his own 2 eyes.
                          
"Hi... Y/N." Vale says softly, happiness beaming in her voice
                          
"Hey... Mom," Y/N voices with sadness and joy
                          
Y/N embraces her; tears begin to stream down his cheeks. Keita and Aria watch the two then Aria turns to Keita.
                          
"She's lucky." Keita comments. "She's found a good match."
                          
"It's good thing she's self-repairing now, thanks to Siva." Aria says
                          
"Do you think-" 
                          
"No Keita. We are not enhancing our ghost to do that." Aria interrupts
                          
Keita grumbles from how quick she caught on. Back with Y/N and Vale they've separated from the familial embrace and Vale links up with her chosen. Y/N walks to the 2 guardians with the hawk helmet closing like a beak. 
                          
"I can't thank either one of you enough for bringing her back," Y/N tells them, true gratefulness pouring from his voice
                          
"There is no need to thank us, you're a guardian too y'know," Keita testifies. "It was nothing more than helping a fellow guardian in need."
                          
"That's nice to hear but... I don't deserve to be called a Guardian," Y/N says
                          
Before either of them could interject, he raised a hand in a way that meant don't say anything.
                          
"I don't deserve to be a guardian because I couldn't even protect her," Y/N decides. "So instead I'd rather be a 'Risen' instead of Guardian. As not only that I couldn't protect my ghost but I haven't been on the 'Guardian' side of things."
                          
Aria and Keita look at each other then back Y/N and nod in acceptance.
                          
"If that is what you want to be then we won't stop you." Aria reassures. "But know that we are also here if you need help with anything. If you ever want to come back as a Guardian. We'll help."
                          
Y/N smiles beneath the helmet.
                          
"Thank you." Y/N simply says. "Now, enough of the sappy stuff. I have to go deliver a... package to someone. Actually 2 people. So if you'll excuse I'll be leaving."
                          
"Just send us a message if anything happens to come up, and we'll send you a message if anything happens to come up." Keita quickly explains
                          
"Got it." Y/N heads off with those last words

Y/N sends a quick text to Qrow. Telling to that he has to show something to him and Yang.
                          
"You don't have to give it to them y'know," Vale points out
                          
"Vale, I'd rather give them the news now than have them find out later," Y/N answers with hollowness. "Plus, I have something to say."
