Deku woke up and moved to stretch, before looking around at his surroundings. He was currently only in a small prison cell, laying on a bench. "Well gotta admit, this is definitely one of the weirder wake ups I've ever had," he thought.

He didn't have much to think, as a police officer walked in. "So you're finally awake? I am Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi. I came to ask you a couple of questions."

"And what if I refuse to answer?" Deku asked back.

"That's your choice. However, you should know we have some people in the force who get the truth out of you in a more forceful manner," Tsukauchi informed him. "So unless you want to end up in a worse situation than you are now I suggest you cooperate."

"Go on then, I dare you," Deku challenged. "Whatever torture you plan to put me through I can take. So do your absolute worst."

Tsukauchi stared at the boy. That threat usually worked, but this boy wasn't like most people. "Listen, remaining silent will only make things worse for you. As I'm sure you may have guessed, your leader AFO has been captured. It will only be a matter of time before we get the rest of your little group."

"Woah detective, calm down," Deku said, putting up his hands. "I was just messing around. Look, I'll answer what I'm able to, or am willing to. I mean, it's not like I'm loyal to the League, just AFO."

"Is that so? Well fine then, if you'll follow me, I'll take you into one of the interrogation rooms."

Deku walked up to the bars and stuck his hands through, allowing Tsukauchi to handcuff him. After that, Tsukauchi opened the cell and led him away. After arriving, Deku sat down in a chair and stared at Tsukauchi who did the same.

"So then, what did you want to ask me?"

"How did you join the League?"

Deku frowned. Of course that would be his first question, but it was one he wasn't too fond of. "Let's just say I was in a very bad place at the time. AFO discovered me, how I don't know, and helped me out before asking me to join."

"That matches up with what Tokoyami told us."

Deku frowned. "So you already knew? I don't care if you were just making sure, what the hell?"

Tsukauchi ignored his outburst and went onto the next question. "Why did you fake your death?"

"Well I didn't want my mom to somehow get involved,  and I knew if I just ran away, she wouldn't stop looking for me. It kept her safe while giving me more freedom. After all, most people wouldn't go looking for a dead person."

"Hmm yes, that did complicate our investigation of your identity. Next, what did you do for the League?"

"Man, if you already talked to Tokoyami then you should know. I didn't lie to him so whatever he told you was the truth. I did quirk analysis and some spy/stealth operations. I wasn't usually a member of the usual field team, I was more of an information specialist."

"Why were you at the USJ then?"

"To get revenge. Katsuki Bakugou was my primary tormentor for most of my life and this was a good chance to get payback. I fought with him. I defeated him. I'm sure Tokoyami has already told you both of these things. After that I returned to Kurogiri and Shigaraki and convinced them to retreat since we were at a disadvantage."

"Did you go near UA and its students again after this?"

"I went to the Sports Festival to analyse their quirks on All for One's orders but that's it. I did run into Uraraka and Iida there, but the interactions I had with them afterward were either indirect or by chance."
