We heard another gunshot but this time Kit was hit in the shoulder. Lam had walked in while we were looking around. Kit fell to the ground and Beam ran over to help him - Ming immediately started fighting with Lam and grabbed the gun from his hand - knocked Lam out and cuffed him to the wall.
"I told you Muay Thai lessons weren't a waste of money," Ming mumbled and I assumed that was meant for Yo if he was here - Ming then kicked Lam one more time. Forth and I were trying to figure out how to get to Waii and Archie.
"Ming, you and I walk out the door here - Pha I'll signal you to follow, Beam stay with Kit," Forth said - he took charge while I spaced out watching Archie hug Waii who hasn't stopped crying since 'killing' Park.
"Pha, wait for my signal." Forth said and came up to me - trying to get me to focus on what was happening. I nodded and stayed by the door as they left.
- ten minutes later -
"Pha! Can you hear me, babe?" I heard talking in the room but only BeamKit were in here with me.
"Forth found the kids!" Beam said and pointed towards the monitor. Forth was standing with Archie and Waii in his arms.
"I can hear you, can you hear us?" I asked and Forth said yes.
"Grab BeamKit and walk over here - Ming has Korn and Knock passed out and tied up right outside the door where I am," Forth said and I said ok before helping Beam carry Kit and we made our way towards Forth and the kids.
As we were walking I felt something stab me and I fell to the floor.
"OH MY GOD P'PHA ARE YOU OK?! I AM SO SORRY! OH MY GOD!" Yo yelled and immediately tried to help me.
"Yo!?" Beam yelled and Forth ran out hearing the yelling.
"What happened to Pha?" Forth asked.
"I stabbed him thinking he was Park," Yo said and was still helping me not bleed out everywhere.
"It's alright, I'm ok. Are you ok?" I asked and Yo nodded.
"A bit beat up - but I'm ok," Yo said and wrapped his shirt around my waist where he stabbed me. Forth handed Yo the kids and he helped me stand up.
"What is going on here?" Forth asked Yo.
"They've been part of Wen's gang this entire time. Wen is dead. But they're in charge now. They are double-agents. We've been played." Yo said referring to Lam, Park, Korn and Knock.
"Hello!? Any one out there!?" Someone yelled from the end of the hallway. We all looked at each other confused.
"Ming, you and Forth go check it out - Yo give Ming the knife," I said as I sat against the wall and held Yo's jacket against the wound. The bleeding was still bad but slowly stopping.
"We'll be back in a minute," Forth said as him and Ming left.
"Mama," Waii whined and started tearing up seeing me in pain. Yo sat beside me and put Waii on his lap.
"I'm ok Waii," I could tell he was scared I was hurt.
"You hurt..." Waii mumbled and tried to hug me but Yo wouldn't let him which made him cry.
"Yo, sit on the other side so he can hug me," I said and Yo nodded moving and setting Waii on my lap gently. Waii hugged me and was careful of my other side. He fell asleep after crying for a few more minutes.
I held him the best I could and looked towards Forth when him and Ming came back carrying two new people.
"Kit, can you call Third and Khai? We need to get out of here. Now." Forth said.
"I don't have my phone," Kit said.
"Korn's is in his pocket I can see it from here," I said and winced when Waii moved a bit.
Kit grabbed the phone and called his little brother and his husband. We need to get out of here but don't have anyway of leaving.
- at the 3MoonsGang building -
"Pha, how you feeling?" Beam asked as he was cleaning the stab wound and checking the bruises and cuts Lam did.
"I'm ok, just tried," I said and waited for him to finish so I could go upstairs and sleep. But I need to stay up and work a bit before sleeping.
"P'Beam, is it ok if we stay the night? It's too late to go back home now," Third said as him and Khai came into the hospital-unit.
"Pha, is it ok?" Beam asked.
"Yeah, you guys are family," I said and they both smiled.
"They should join the gang. They're good at hiding bodies in a short amount of time," Beam said.
"What'd you do with them?" I asked referring to ParkLam and KornKnock. I let Beam and Kit have their fun with them. Three guns and four knives later... They were dead and the new gang members were throwing the bodies into the river.
Damn. We're a weird group of people.
I had fallen asleep while Beam was stitching me up when Forth came down stairs.
- hours later -
"Where'd they go?" Forth asked noticing that the two guys that Kit was working on were gone.
"Kit's operating on one and the other is in the ICU. Do you know them or just wanted to save them?" Beam asked.
"I went to high school with them, they were two of my best friends," Forth said.
"What are their names? Their finger prints aren't in the system anywhere in Thailand," Kit asked as he came out of the OR wheeling one of the guys next to Pha's bed.
"That's Kongpob and Arthit is the one in the ICU," Forth said and put Kongpob's phone on the table beside his bed same with Arthit's.
I woke up a few minutes ago and Forth came over and kissed my fave a million times - happy that I was ok.
"How's your wrist?" I asked seeing the cast.
"It's alright, how're you feeling?" Forth asked and sat on the bed beside me moving the hair out of my eyes.
"I'm ok, just tired..." I said and Forth smiled.
"How's Waii?" I asked and Forth said he was ok and that he refuses to leave Archie's side. They were both sleeping in the same bed cuddled together.
"I hope he's ok," I mumbled and Forth agreed.
"On the bright side, he's a good shot," Beam said.
"Yeah... He's gonna need so much therapy when he's older..." Forth said and was already stressing out for the future.
"He'll be ok babe, he's a fighter," I said.
