As Goku stood before Cell, the two fighters studied each other. At last, they would have a chance to fight.

All the Z Warriors watched closely.

"This should be good," Gohan stared keenly.

"Yeah...," Krillin agreed.

It was Goku's fight now. The fate of the world rested in his hands. If Goku couldn't defeat Cell, who could? No one else was strong enough to defeat the villainous, bio-engineered Android. Their hope was in their hero and friend, Son Goku.

"As I'm sure you know by now," Cell clenched his fists. "I've been waiting for this! Killing the helpless quickly grows old." Then he chuckled. "I'm counting on you for amusement while I test my body."

Goku got into a fighting stance, one leg and arm forwards while his other arm and leg rested behind. "Inhear you're designed to use all of our techniques against us," the saiyan remarked.

Cell readied himself as well. "Perfection," he smirked.

On the side of the ring from the Z Warriors, the tall, burly man caught the saiyaness' attention as he managed to make his way back to the humans. He was alive, she noticed, but he was still injured from his head, it seemed, and blood ran down his forehead.

The announcer was quickly on him to ask what had happened that made him lose the match. Hercule told him he lost his footing, surprising the announcer. But then Piiza backed the Champ up by saying that having a misstep as someone so strong could send you flying. When the announcer seemed skeptical  Caroni and Pirozhki insisted it was true.

Hercule chuckled, "Don't worry! Once I take a short break to re-lace my boots, I'll get back in there and squash that wimp! Now. Who. Rules?!"

Pirozhki and Caroni both cheered their teacher's name. Niya lightly sighed as her and the Z Warriors overheard the Hercule team. He seems alright to me, Niya thought.

The Saiyan Prince, however, was taken aback, "That ridiculous man hasn't realized his weakness! His stupidity is beyond belief!"

Hercule, meanwhile, laughed freely with a confident front.

Despite the ridiculous commentary from the humans, the half-saiyan from the future kept his eyes on the fighters in the ring. This is it, Trunks spoke telepathically to his wife, grabbing her attention. Now, we'll see why Goku has been acting so confident all this time.

Niya then turned her crimson eyes to Goku's concentrated face. Yeah, she replied, He has to win.

Everything she believed about Goku was about to happen in front of her. She had heard that Goku was Earth's greatest hero before he was taken by the heart virus. And before, while fighting against Android 19, he wasn't able to fight his best because of the virus once more. And thankfully, he had recovered this time. He had rested, and he had trained. Now would show the fruits of their efforts, the point of her and Trunks time traveling to the past. Goku, their hero in their times of need, was their last hope now.

Niya placed a hand over the Red Jewel unconsciously and thought, wished, Goku, beat him. Defeat Cell. She blocked out out more nonsense from Hercule and the announcer, and she felt a chill as the air in the ring changed.

"Ding," Cell smirked, and immediately, Goku zoomed towards him.

Goku went for a kick to the head, which Cell blocked with a forearm, before throwing a jab, only to also be blocked by Cell's palm.

Then, Cell took his turn for a punch, but Goku dodged as he ducked. The saiyan then pushed off from the ground and swiped at Cell with his leg, only for the Android to dodge by skidding to the side.
