"So, (L/N)-chan. What brings you here?" One motherly voice asked the small girl figure.
                          
"Well, I'm not allowed to come here without any reason?"
                          
"That's not what I meant and you know it (L/N)-chan~." (Y/N) answered the boy with a small laugh.
                          
"I'm here to talk about something with Yacchan." Yachi pointed her index finger to herself to confirm that she really was the person who (Y/N) was looking for. On the other hand, a black-haired boy who was standing beside (Y/N) was slightly avoiding his gaze elsewhere for, again, who knows why. The ravenette gesture was not left unseen by the blonde light pole.
                          
"Hee~ Ousama seems heartbroken. Is it because you're not the reason she's here?" Tsukishima's words were meant to tease Kageyama and it worked because as everyone could see, he looked amazingly pissed but embarrassed at the same time. But he was not the only person who was negatively affected by the boy's statement and Tsukishima knew that very well.
                          
The others were laughing along with Tsukishima's smirk turned wider, while Hinata, Tanaka, and Noya being the 'supportive' friends they are.
                          
"Oho. Kageyama~ I didn't know you're easily jealous." The bald boy said to his beloved junior.
                          
"It's called protecting what's his Ryuu."
                          
"AH! That's not good Kageyama! Don't be a stingy king." The sunshine said but definitely regretted what he said as Kageyama nearly killed him with all his might which turn everyone's laugh switch 'on', except the mother and the father of the team who tried to save their kid.
                          
"Don't worry Kageyama, I'm yours only." (Y/N) said confidently with wide teasing smile which caused the whole team to shout 'ohh!' loudly and some of them pat (Y/N) for her bold teasing. Kageyama who didn't expect that coming, quickly lost all of his strength to strangle Hinata and his face was as red as boiling crab while another person was pissed by the situation.

The practice had finally over. After her talk with Yachi, she decided to stay to watch the practice after being 'persuaded' or more like dragged by the active trio. She was helping the managers along with the brunette girl, that she just found out was the person who Kageyama was talking about all this time. Actually, (Y/N) never felt anything when Kageyama was talking about Erika. But that she met the girl in person, she kinda felt afraid and probably... jealous. Erika had been Kageyama's friend since forever while (Y/N) just met him recently. She was afraid that she might just be a replacement for Erika's absence because of the school festival. She was afraid that she will be tossed away by the time he got Erika back to his side. She was afraid to lose him.
                          
When the (H/C) haired girl was deep in her thought, her head was knocked softly by someone.
                          
"Are you okay? You seem lost in mind." (Y/N)'s face turned a bit pinkish by the fact that the person she was thinking, was standing in front of her all this time. Probably.
                          
"Umm... I'm alright." She filled her short answer with an awkward laugh. Kageyama could sense an unusual tense from the girl but decided to throw it away and just act normal.
                          
"Then... I'll take the bottle." (Y/N) who just noticed that she was still holding a bottle all this time, quickly gave Kageyama the bottle, served with a smile. But before (Y/N) let go of the bottle, a high pitched voice could be heard calling Kageyama's name from behind him.
                          
"Tobio-kun. Here, a bottle for you~." Kageyama and (Y/N) looked at each other. At that moment, the (E/C) eyed girl notice the little tension and about to take back the bottle but she was lost in speed with Kageyama who already took the bottle from her hands.
                          
"I already got one."
                          
"Oh... Then, a towel?"
                          
"Sure. Thanks." Kageyama gave a little very rare smile to his childhood friend and pat her head a little which turned the girl's lips corner upwards. But the other girl beside him could feel something she hadn't felt before.
                          
Why does it ache this much?

"So, (L/N)-san, right?" The said girl nodded her head a little.
                          
"Where did you know Kageyama?"
                          
"I met him in the school music room when I was illegally playing there. That time Kageyama thought I was the rumored ghost and about to make sure but it was just me. He is a very cute boy right?" (Y/N) said while giving a little laugh while the other person forced to give her a laugh too.
                          
It was awkward. Amazingly awkward indeed. The two were left by themselves in front of Coach Ukai's store. Originally, there was supposed to be four people there but due to unfortunate reason, the two were left alone waiting for another two boys. 
                          
Flashback
                          
"AH!"
                          
"What's wrong Shoyo-kun?" The (E/C)-eyes girl asked the sunshine.
                          
"I LEFT MY PHONE!"
                          
"Huh?"
                          
"HINATA BOKE!"
                          
"I-I'LL RUN BACK TO THE SCHOOL," The boy said so but his body jumped up a little and turned back to the other three with an amazingly pale face.
                          
"C-could someone please accompany me?" (Y/N) was about to volunteer but by the time Kageyama noticed it, he quickly volunteered himself.
                          
"I'll accompany him. Both of you just go back first."
                          
"It's okay. I promised I will go back with Shoyou after all."
                          
"I'll wait for you too, Tobio."
                          
And that's how (Y/N) were caught in this awkward situation. She was trying her best to make a good impression and being friendly, but on the other hand, she could feel a bad aura radiating from the other girl. She could sense it very well. But, trying not to make assumptions, she still tried to think positively.
                          
"So... You've known Kageyama your whole life?"
                          
"Yup. I grew up with him. Our parents were very close to the point where we often go on holiday together. We also stayed at each other place for a sleepover for almost every weekend--"
                          
The brunette finally opened up in (Y/N)'s point of view. She felt relieved that the tension was finally broken and the brunette could talk excitedly which made the (H/C)-haired girl's lips turned into a smile. But that didn't last long, till the girl's face turned into a rather unreadable expression with just one sentence.
                          
"--Oh and you know? He also promised to marry me when we were older and I will always wait for that time to come."
