One rainy morning

                                    

                                          
One morning you woke up when you heard a tapping sound. You woke up and saw that Antok was gone. You put your robe on and walked over to the bedroom window. When you got to the window you saw that it was pouring rain outside. You watched the rain for a little while before you went to go make breakfast. 
                          
You grabbed a pan and put it on the stove. Then you went to the pantry to get the ingredients to make something similar to pancakes. You listened to the rain as you measured and mixed the ingredients together in a bowl. Once you were finished mixing everything together you grabbed a small log from the small pile in the corner and brought it to the stove. You put the log inside and got a match to set it on fire.
                          
You had to wait a few minutes for the stove to warm up, but once it was ready you started making the pancakes. You hummed your favorite songs as you made the pancakes. Before you knew it you were almost done making the pancakes. When you heard the front door open you knew that Antok was home. You turned around and saw that he had killed some kind of animal for dinner.
                          
"I'm sorry that I wasn't in bed when you woke up. I wanted to get dinner before it rained too much outside." Antok said as he put the animal in a metal tub.
                          
"It's okay. I made breakfast for when you got home." You said as you turned towards the stove again and finished making the pancakes.
                          
"It smells good." Antok said as he started setting the table.
                          
You smiled as you brought the large plate of pancakes over to the table. You put the plate in the middle before you sat down. Antok got some water for you both to drink before he sat down. You both ate breakfast as you enjoyed each other's company while listening to the rain outside.
