No one seems to notice anymore, so used to it everyday that it just was something that happened. The two in specific barely even realized it anymore, after people stopped pointing it out. They just could never keep their hands to themselves.
During practice, whenever Sawamura would throw an especially good pitch Miyuki couldn't help but wrap his arm around his shoulders and card his fingers through his hair as he praised him. He didn't praise him often enough so Miyuki unconsciously always found excuses to be touching Sawamura in some way or another. Stretching, chastising, and teasing being a few good examples. This was especially why so many got used to all of their physical intimacy.
But during games things got a bit different, depending on whether they were on the mound or in the dugout. If they were in the field it was exactly like practice, arm around the shoulder while constantly teasing him. The others would even join in.
Though in the dugout it was the total opposite, it was their most intimate time and what took their teammates the longest to get used to. Sawamura would sit in Miyuki's lap as he watched his teammates go up one by one to bat, just breathing and relaxing back into Miyuki's chest. Or when Sawamura was especially frustrated with what was happening in the game he would sit between Miyuki's legs and drape his arms over them. He would wrap his arms around Sawamura's shoulders and they would watch the game intently.
No one commented on it anymore, it was like they didn't see it. Though when they had said something Miyuki and Sawamura would separate immediately and blush as red as a rose. They wouldn't talk or look at each other for a whole day but then, as if nothing happened, they would be right back to their regular routine. The team felt that as long as they didn't interfere with practice or the team they would just ignore it. And from then on they truly didn't see it anymore.
Though if someone not used to it did comment or ask if they were together they would stutter and deny it immediately. Though no one believed them.
The oblivious idiots.
Everything was going smoothly and they still never realized just how attached to each other they were until they finally won the last game of the third years' career.
They all ran to the mound yelling and cheering happily as they hugged and congratulated each other. When suddenly in a moment of euphoria Miyuki ran straight up to Sawamura and kisses him straight on the lips. They kissed for a few moments lingering for seconds before they realized what they had just done and their eyes snapped open in shock. They stepped back in shock before they were pulled into the celebration of others, unable to talk about what had happened.
This incident left a tension in the air for the next week, as it was left unresolved. They avoided each other for so long while craving to just be near the other. Until finally Kuramochi got fed up and decided to lock them in the supply closet to talk it out.
At first it had been so extremely awkward after they had given up beating the door down, since that was impossible in that instance. Then when they finally began to actually speak to each other their words and emotions just started to flood from them. Miyuki was a little hesitant to re-establish their physical intimacy but Sawamura barreled right into as he wrapped his arms around Miyuki's shoulders and kisses him. Miyuki was a bit thrown off his axis for a moment but quickly reclaimed his emotions and gave back ten fold.
After that the obvious displays of affection didn't stop, they multiplied. Sure it was a lot harder for their teammates to just ignore, as there was a lot more kissing after that, but they preferred a happy pitcher and catcher than a sad one.
So from then on out the entire world knew just how much the two boys truly could not get enough of each other.
