Currently working on the others! School work is piling up because it's towards the end of the semester, but I'm updating as I can.
Leo
There was a lot of questioning.
From the doctors and nurses.
From the police.
From more police.
They asked many times about what you could remember, if you were being abused at home, and why you were out so late. They asked what the men looked like and how and why you decided to fight instead of run.
You weren't much help and it was frustrating everyone.
You just couldn't remember what had happened the first few days. On the fourth day in the hospital, they finally discharged you when they couldn't find proof of household abuse. This was the day you finally recalled what had happened. It had been in the shower when you remembered, and you had burst into tears. How could you have forgotten? Was everyone okay?
Adrian came into the bathroom, sitting on the toilet and trying to talk to you through the shower curtain as Candy stayed with a neighbor for the time being. Adrian has said you being home after being attacked would stress you out as it was and Candy would want to ask questions as little kids normally tend to do.
You stuck with the story of being attacked.
But as soon as you could, you grabbed a coat and the apartment keys and left for the lair. No call or text ahead of time. It was just you and you throbbing head and side. The stitches made your skin feel tight so sometimes you moved in a funny way when you felt it tug. Other than this, and the occasional stumble, you made it to the lair okay.
Mikey had been playing video games, yelling at the screen so loud that it made you want to curl into yourself. Raph had came out of the dojo to scold him but stopped short when he caught sight of you standing at the entrance, hand to your head.
"Leo, get yer ass in here!" Raph's voice had somehow hurt your head more than Mikey's voice had. You leaned your hands on your knees to calm down, the volume in the room seeming to be blown up.
"What is it now?" You peeked up at the familiar voice and smiled when you saw the leader walk into the room. He stopped walking when he saw you. It was a very short-lived reaction because before you knew it, you were wrapped in his arms. "Y/n! What are you doing here? You should be in bed." He pulled you back out of his embrace, blue eyes examining you.
"Sorry for the intrusion, Leo. I came to see if everyone was okay."
"Okay?" Raph scoffed. "You just got out of the hospital and you're asking if we're okay?" He seemed to look anywhere but you.
"I'm...sorry?" You weren't sure what exactly the apology was for, but you'd said it anyways.
Leo looked between you and his younger brother. He seemed to be giving Raph what you called 'The Look'. "Why don't we sit down and talk, hm? You're starting to sway a little bit."
You let him walk with you to the couch to sit, but you smiled and bumped him with your hip. "Oh, you know me, always swaying about. Is there a law against it?"
Leo tried to smile, but it was faked. "Raph, are you coming?"
"Nah, y'all have some time alone- I've got a dummy to beat up." He grumbled, walking his way back into the dojo. That was weird, even for Raphael, you thought. You squinted his direction as if he'd feel it and turn back around, but he never came back into the doorway.
You glanced back at the tv where Mikey had paused his game. He grinned and gave you a quick fist-bump. "What's up Dudette?"
"Not too much, Mikey. Have you beat my high score yet?"
