After I showered, the amount of anxiety and stress I felt since the pool incident, all I wanted to do is leave and never look back but I couldn't, Shockingly enough, Kyle would still find me I don't know how but he does.
Luckily, Brooke went to hang with mom and dad for tonight so I feel a little lighter since she doesn't have to get involved.
I stand in front of the mirror staring at the skimpy dress that clung to my body, I wasn't comfortable or happy about this date and I know Kyle will fulfill some sort of punishment... I just know it,
I frowned
Knock knock!
He's here, my heart races in panic smoothing my dress, It's time for my forced torture and live through this nightmare.
"Take deep breathes, Mae, deep breathes"
Opening the door, I gasped spotting Brooke tapping her foot "Finally, I lost my key-whoa! Are you and James going out tonight?" She wiggled her eyebrows walking further into the room
"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be with mom and dad" I panicked even more.
I didn't want her to see Kyle
"My phone is almost dead so I came back for my charger" She shrugged walking towards her suitcase.
I sighed gesturing her to hurry until then...
"Is my baby girl ready?"
Kyle's voice spoke behind us
Oh no! We both turn to find Kyle wearing his dress suit get-up with a black trench coat. He smirked checking me out from head to toe approaching my side and Brooke looked shocked seeing Kyle here.
Kyle showed an amusement gleam glancing at Brooke "Nice to see you again, Little one it's been a while"
Brooke looks between us knowing she's baffled and confused, needing an explanation.
"Uh... Hi, what's he doing here?" She directly asked me
I was about to open my mouth-
"We kept texting, we worked it out and Mae being the darling she is, sends me an invitation" Kyle kissed my temple that made my eyes widen
This is all just an act that sent a bad chill down my spine.
Brooke looks taken back "What!? And what about James? You two were practically glued at the hip since we got here and now you switch back to this... sad drag like nothing!?" Her tone is disappointing and I couldn't blame her
She thinks I'm a loose tease now
And Kyle didn't like how she insulted him but he refuses to act on it. Brooke rolled her eyes "Nice outfit by the way... It suits your personality" then she stormed from the room
