Yumi's POV
Senjuro started acting weirdly today, he didn't act like this yesterday. He locked himself in his room not wanting to go outside, also he kept on  pushing every servants who want to call him to eat. I decided to go and I saw Naki leaving his room with sad eyes. She noticed me and shook her head making me sigh. 
                          
" Yumi-sama why he acting like that?" Naki asked making me shook my head. 
                          
" I don't know, yesterday he is fine." I replied. Naki then bid goodbye, I approached Senjuro's room and knocked it. He didn't response nor opened the door. I grabbed the door and take the courage to slide it. The room was dark and I can only see his figure sitting on his bed. I approached  him and slowly place my hands to his shoulder. I yelped when he grabbed my hand and pinned me to his bed. I can't see his face but the thing that caught me the most is his eyes. It's not the usual golden eyes that I see but it's glowing red.
                          
" S-senjuro?" I mananged to speak, he didn't said anything but his gripped tightened making me winced.
                          
" Who said that you will enter my room??" He asked in his annoyed voice, the way he held my hand is so painful. Tears started to burst into my  eyes, I can see his eyes widened and he gently let my hand go. I felt his hand touched my face making me flinched, he hissed and stand up.
                          
" Leave." I hurriedly stand up and excused myself, I felt my body shivering, what's wrong with me? Why am I afraid of him? I feel about it, I should have let him touch my face but my fear of him hurting me came first. He is the Senjuro I knew but why is he so different today? His eyes is different, like I saw a demon's eyes. 
                          
" Yumi?" I snapped out when I heard Nashi's voice. I then faced her and she was holding food. She seems noticed that I'm terrified and afraid. She sighed.
                          
" I guess I need to explain everything." She said and smiled sadly. She approached me making me step aside as she entered Senjuro's room. I didn't heard anything only the door slided revealing Nashi who already give Senjuro's food. She then pulled my hand and went somewhere. She  sat down and tapped the space beside her. I calmed myself and sat beside her. Confused, yes I was totally confused. 
                          
" What did you saw out there?" Nashi asked, I didn't said anything and kept quiet. I don't know if I'm going to tell her, but knowing that she knows everything and I don't want to miss the chance to know everything. 
                          
" Senjuro had red eyes, why is he having that eyes of a demon?" I asked, she sighed and stared at the blue sky. She was hesitating but I know she will tell me the truth. " You know I'm not supposed to tell you but I guess I don't have a choice. Two years, he left the flame estate right?" She asked making me nod.
                          
" Two years I waited for him to return from his training." I replied, she humned in response.
                          
" You know you really looks like her." 
                          
" Her?" Nashi giggled but her eyes sadened.
                          
" Her name was Karin, and Senjuro met her the time he arrived in our place. Senjuro is breathless and he wanted to train to be free from being breathless." Nashi explained. " You must be asking what training he take? But before that let me tell you everything. Our master didn't like Senjuro's will to master breaths. He knows that he can't let a kind hearted boy change into a cold stone one." 
                          
" What do you mean?" I asked, Nashi just smiled and continued.
                          
" Having breath means you need to sacrifice a person to get it. But our master also said that Senjuro is not breathless but something is blocking his power. That's why out master tried to remove it while training Senjuro. Of course Karin and I helped him also. Karin and Senjuro become close and he told us that Karin looks like the person he likes the most. That's you Yumi." I blinked my eyes and I can feel my face turned red. But I calmed myself. She giggled and pinched my cheeks.
                          
" Years had passed and Senjuro is closed enough to be free from being breathless. But an incident happened, a demon suddenly attacked us. One of them is a twelve Kizuki an Upper moon. Senjuro can't fight a demon yet so we tried everything to protect him. While protecting him Karin was badly injured and I ordered him to take Karin to the forbidden area. Master can't also protect us all making me follow them." Hearing her tell everything makes my heart tightened. 
                          
" We know Karin can't make it alive that's why she decided to sacrifice herself for Senjuro to become stronger. Senjuro and I tried to stop her but she already stabbed herself and chanting words that we can't understand. A demon appeared infront of us, no it's not a demon but a God who is protecting the forbidden place. Instead of Senjuro asking for help Karin made the wish for Senjuro. The God agreed but in exchange Senjuro will become a half demon every eleventh day of a month, that's the day Karin died." I don't know what to say but I'm sad. They all suffered from pain especially Senjuro. That's why Senjuro locked himself because he is a demon right now. I flinched when Nashi suddenly holds my hand.
                          
" Yumi-chan, Senjuro still blames himself about Karin's death. So please I'm begging you to help him forgive himself. I don't want him to suffer more." I smiled gently and nod. 
                          
" I don't want to see him suffer also, I'll help him as an exchange for telling me everything." I said she just smiled and thanked me.
                          
" It's the only way for him to move on." Yeah, it's the only way. Now that I know everything, I only need to speak to Senjuro. He is always been suffering and blaming himself for years. I don't want to see him like that, I want to see his smile, his gentle eyes knowing that I can't take it back again. But even if I can't see him smile again I know that he is the Senjuro that we know. He was  just pushing himself away from us or either can't accept himself. He is strong but limiting himself not to use his full strenght.
                          
" Yumi-chan, I need to go first. I'm counting on you." Nashi said with a grin in her face before leaving me. I also decided to stand up. It's time for me to face Senjuro even if he pushed me away I will keep on approaching him. Also it's getting dark, demons are more active during night so it means Senjuro can go outside. When I arrived at the estate  I saw Naki who is worried. 
                          
" Yumi-sama! Senjuro-sama is nowhere to be found." I smiled and calmed them down. 
                          
" Naki, don't worry I know where he is right now. Let me get him." I said and left her, if Senjuro is not here then there is only one place where he can relax. The place is not that far and I can see  his back facing the lights of the other estate. I know he noticed me but didn't turned to look at me. I smiled.
                          
" Senjuro." Calling his name maked him turned and I met his cold crimson eyes. It's so beautiful than his golden eyes. Yet, it's lifeless and hopeless. I approached him and tried to cupped his face but he avoided me. I just smiled and sat beside him. I don't want to waste this time to talk to him. It's my only chance and I will not let it be.
