Chapter 11 - Diet

                                    

                                          


                          
Yoongi cooked for Jimin later that afternoon, so Jimin had to eat a bit to make Yoongi happy. 
                          
He didn't eat a lot, though, and Yoongi noticed. 

                          
"Jimin, are you dieting again?" Yoongi asked.  
                          
"Well, yes, I am." Jimin said. "As I said, I want to be fit for our performance." 
                          
"Okay, but promise me not to start skipping meals. It is very unhealthy and you might lose your strength if you don't eat regularly!" Yoongi said.
                          
"I know, honey." Jimin said without promising anything. 
                          
Jimin did know, but he couldn't help it. This was his way of coping with all the distress. 
                          


                          
He had lied about breakfast to Yoongi and it wasn't the first or last time he lied about eating. At times it just became a habit to pretend he had eaten when he hadn't. 
                          
He'd tell Yoongi he already ate with Tae, and tell Tae he had eaten with Yoongi, thus hopefully none of them realised he hadn't eaten anything.

"What's up, Jimin?" Yoongi asked at the first break on Monday in school. 
                          
Jimin was looking around obviously trying to find someone. 
                          
"I need to find that friend of JK's." he said. 
                          
"What do you want him for?"
                          
"I just need to talk to him. Sorry, see you later." Jimin said walking away towards the cute boy who just came out of a classroom. 
                          
Yoongi watched Jimin take the boy's hand and drag him away, out into the schoolyard.
                          


                          
Jimin and the cute boy shared confidences over by the fountain in the school yard, where the noise made it impossible to be overheard. 
                          
Jimin told him what Tae had said about the marriage. The cute boy said he would try to get in contact with the girl to tell her Tae was gay. 
                          
He hoped that it would make her refuse the marriage and thus that JK would not have to know anything about it. 
                          


                          
While they talked they could see JK sitting on a bench, making out with the girl he had picked up at the bar the previous Friday. 
                          
"Oh my god, what is JK doing now?" the cute boy exclaimed. "He is such a mess nowadays. He just keep fucking things up for himself. He won't listen to me at all anymore."
                          
"I know." Jimin said. "And I have a feeling he's doing it to get at Tae. Also I have a feeling that he is succeeding."
                          
"But Tae told him to find a girlfriend, so he'd be happy now." the cute boy said. 
                          
"Do you seriously believe that? Tae knows JK is bisexual and the rational part of his brain tells him that a life with a girl would be so much easier for JK. That's why he told JK to find a girl." Jimin explained. 
                          
"But JK would always choose to be with Tae if he could, also with all the difficulties of being in a gay relationship, I am sure of it." the cute boy said. 
                          
"And Tae's heart disagrees with his brains. I have a feeling the heart is about to win, after all. And that heart is hurt and so pissed at JK right now." Jimin said. 
                          
"Yeah, who isn't pissed at JK right now?" the cute boy asked rhetorically. "But he is so hurt inside himself, I know it. And if he hears Tae is getting married he'll need protection from himself. I'm seriously scared that he'll try to kill himself." 
                          
"Me too." Jimin said. "And he might be a bad bunny, but he is still our friend." 
                          
The cute boy looked over at JK, his eyes full of concern.
                          
"Promise me you'll try to keep an eye on him when I am not there, Jimin." the cute boy said pleadingly taking Jimins hand in his. "Especially if he finds out about Tae's marriage."
                          
"I promise." Jimin said glancing at JK holding the girl in his arms.

                          
The cute boy gave Jimin a hug and held him just a few seconds too long, thanked him and walked off.

Yoongi was watching them from a window. 
                          
He tried not to let his imagination run away with him but he couldn't help wondering what it was all about. They looked so serious, as if they had an important secret to share. 
                          
When he saw the cute boy taking Jimin's hand and hugging him in more than just a friendly manner before walking away, he felt the jealousy taking over him. 
                          
He tried to shake it off, but didn't really manage to get rid of it.
                          
What the fuck, can that boy keep his hands off my Jimin or what? He's seriously got no fucking manners, touching other people's boyfriends like that!
