I go back outside and get the rest of our stuff. Aunt Lori guides us up to the room that we'll stay in, and we settle in after that. Anaysia helps my aunt in the kitchen and gets to know her more, while I go out with my uncle to get gifts and prepare for tomorrow. I have to go and pick up Anaysia's gift from the jeweler, and get my brother his gift. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I get my 2nd workout of the day out of the way before I head to my mother's house for Christmas. I told her I'll spend it with her instead of kicking it with my uncle like I usually do. My mother and I haven't been on the best terms these past few years, especially since I decided to go choose the gang lifestyle over staying with her.
I've obviously changed since then, so we've fixed our relationship. I grabbed her and my brother a couple of gifts too. We've got to make up the time that we've listed, especially since time is short.
I head to the barbershop to get my haircut. I needed to get my hair cut too, because I don't look to good with a bunch of hair. On top of that, I'm too lazy to even style my own head, so I needed this cut. I go to my regular barber. His name is Navi, and he's real dope with cutting hair.

I always pay him extra because he always keeps me looking right.
" what's happenin J.." Navi says as I come inside the shop.
" Nothing really...I'm tryna look right for the holidays."
" you know I got you.." he says as he fixes up his chair. I sit down after he's done and wait patiently as he starts the cut.
I notice that a couple of people come inside of the barbershop. One dude looked really familiar. I know he used to affiliate with Troop heavily, but I don't know if he still does or not. Then another dude named Travis comes in the barbershop. He chats with another barber about something while his boys are outside doing something.
Surprisingly, I see Drea come into the barbershop too. Navi turns me around so har could do the back of my head, so Drea couldn't see me. She sits with Travis after she gives him a wad of cash. I could her through the mirror.
" what else you got Drea?"
" well, he took me to his brother's club. They don't associate in the main club, they got their own lul' party room. They take an elevator to get there..."
" It's Quincy's right? Or is it Raq's? Troop wants me to be specific.."
" It's Quincy's.. they all drive in a black escalade..you rarely see them go in a regular car..."
" Ight....we almost finished with the job....so when you gon' dump homeboy?"
" I don't know..."
" you better figure it out and know...and I hope you not falling for him either. The dick can't be that good.."
" would you shut up? That little boy is so whipped.."
" yeah....don't have him too pussy whipped...might have to fold his young ass too.."
I watch them from the mirror as the both walk out of the barbershop. I really was stunned as the conversation I just heard. I try hit up Quincy as fast I could.
" you good J?" Navi asks as he finished up on my lineup.
" I'm straight dawg....say, do they come in here often?"
" who? Travis and his cousin?"
" yeah.."
" they only come in here for Jaquan, that's it...you know they got they own shop? well, Travis does..."
" Ight.."
After I leave Quincy a message, I continue to wait for Navi to finish up my cut. As soon as he does, I walk out to my car, still waiting for Q to hit me back. Just as I get inside my car and start it, I feel my pager buzz.
" hello?"
" Jason?"
" yeah, man..you get my message?"
" yeah I got it...meet me at the Bombay in 10..."
" bet."

Theres quite of few people at my aunt's house once we arrive. My step sister, Jasmine is gonna stay the night with my nephew Jorydn. My brother, Montell, and a few more relatives with their children are also staying at the house as well, so it's pretty much a full house. There's only one room left, and there's the sunroom after that.
I picked up Anasyia, my brother, and my nephew's gifts and I ask my step sister to wrap them up and keep them in her room. I'll put them under the tree when everyone's sleep.
I don't see my nephew too much now that I'm out of high school. When I was younger, my mom used to babysit him all the time. He was really young, like a baby. He always used to follow me around and try to play ball with me. So this year for Christmas, I bought him a mini basketball. Hopefully he can grow his love for the game and follow his uncle's footsteps.
I got my brother some new shoes and tickets to see Busta Rhymes. I know my brother is into music heavily, so I got him those tickets so he can him and his friends can enjoy a lul' concert. He'll be able to chat with him also since they're VIP tickets.
I bought Anaysia some new earrings and I wrote her a letter. It's kind of long, but it's from the heart and genuine. It took me at least a week and a some days to finish it completely. I have it framed up, and I bought her another necklace. This necklace has the date we got engaged imprinted in it.
This Christmas is gonna be one to remember for me, especially since it's the first one without my mother around.
